What can I say? I approached Revive Retold regarding adding a liner into a Barbour jacket that didnt have the fixings for this. Initially spoke with Scott who was so helpful and knowledgeable. From initial contact to receiving finished jacket the service from Revive Retold was fantastic. I was kept informed constantly of the work that was being carried out and pictures when the work was completed.
The quality of the work is absolutely fantastic and at a great price too. I will use their workmanship again if required.
I would not hesitate in recommending Retold Revive to anyone requiring work on a wax jacket.
Their skill and professionalism with how they deal with customers was first class service. Thank you Revive and Retold team.

OMG ! what an amazing experience. My Barbour coat had not been looked after and needed some repair work, a good clean and wax.
Email response is so fast, keeping you updated and diagrams of work that will be done, dealing with a caring person. The coat looks like new, they are clearly perfectionists, price very reasonable too. I would thoroughly recommend these hard working people and their story is truly touching.

I am so thrilled to have discovered Revive Retold. I sent them my late mother's ancient Barbour which was in a state of complete disrepair; I had been wearing it since her death but it didn't keep me dry and frankly looked extremely tatty. I couldn't believe it when I opened my beautifully wrapped parcel just before Christmas: I have what looks like a brand new jacket, but with every single tear and hole lovingly repaired. I am delighted! In addition, I don't remember ever having such fantastic customer service; Scott kept me informed throughout the process, with helpful updates on extra repairs he thought it worth carrying out. A thoroughly impressive service - thank you so much, Scott and Chris.

The re-wax of my Barbour Dept. B Commander jacket was done with care, attention and technical expertise. Scott turned it around in 2 weeks and I could not be happier with the result. It looks outstanding. If you have a wax cotton jacket, this is the company to restore it both aesthetically and practically. Utterly brilliant service!

I asked Scott to re wax, clean, patch up and extend the arms of my old Barbour jacket. Ive had it almost 20 years and love how “worn in” it is - but it needed a little TLC. The results are just fantastic and I’m so pleased. Scott kept me updated from the point he received the jacket, throughout the repairs, to sending my jacket home. 5 stars. Thank you Scott.

Great communication, kept me updated all the way through. I'm not going to lie, mine isn't the newest jacket in the land or in the best condition, but I've had it years and I love it. The guys at Revive and Retold did a fantastic job with it. They've patched worn out pockets and frayed sleeves and sewed up torn lining. They've also cleaned it and re waxed it. Great job all round. Revive & Retold have just worked on three coats for me. From the very start Scott's communications were excellent. He kept me upto date throughout the time he had my coats. Two of the jackets needing re-waxing. After the first application of wax, Scott wasn't happy with the result. So he waxed them again. The quality of the repairs he carried out, especially the new cuffs he put on my winter jacket are excellent. All in all a 5 star service, I have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommended Revive & Retold.

I damaged my Belstaff Redford waxed cotton jacket causing a 30cm long tear in the lower arm section and sent an email enquiry to Scott at Revive Retold for a quote for the repair. Within minutes I had a response and full precise instructions on how to proceed if I wanted to.
I can honestly say I was very surprised at how cheap the quote was, the workmanship was second to none and communication from start to finish was exceptional.

Scott Ashley MBE within a period of a few days cleaned, re-waxed, repaired, shortened sleeves, and faced pocket flaps, sleeve cuffs and underneath collar with the most wonderful Harris Tweed he sourced etc Communications, standard of work, exceptional to my Mark Phillips Rare Barbour. An example of precision, integrity, true service by military veterans.

I am really thrilled with the repair and re wax carried out on my son’s thirteen year old Barbour Sapper jacket. It was looking very sad and very worn when I sent it off to Revive Retold and it now looks like new.

Great service from start to finish. From my initial enquiry to the return of my jacket I was kept fully informed of the progress beinng made. Not only did they repair the damage I'd identified they found some I'd missed and repaired them as well. I would also recomend the re-waxing. The finished product was brilliant, it looked like new.

Wow, what care and service! I had 2 hats that required cleaning and re-waxing. Scott was very accommodating and kept me informed of exactly what Revive Retold could do for me.

After sending off the hats, I was kept updated with progress and safety received them back today. The quality of workmanship was 10/10. Even the little touches of receiving them back in a presentation bag, along with a couple of pin badges, made a truly enjoyable experience.

If this is their standard of work and care, then I would absolutely no hesitation to recommend them to anyone needing a re-wax of their loved garments.
