When I saw my revived memories of my late Mum when she was young dancing it gave me goosebumps. Then to see my youngest daughter, who passed away last year, laughing with her siblings was just so emotional. The quality of these video is outstanding. I just used it once to animate newspaper article written about my sister raising puppies when their mother died after giving birth. It did well. But I did not have enough use for the program to justify the monthly cost. S0 I cancelled. I will be back to use again, and would be willing to pay a nominal fee per use.

I uploaded my favourite picture of my late mum who I lost 7 years ago. I got very emotional from what was produced, we now have a load more stills created from that 4 second mini clip. My initial thoughts were "Wow, how the hell can it do that" I sent the clip to my sister and she felt the same way.....brilliant, thankyou!

This is a really good service
This is a really good service, if a bit pricey. The photo-animation is great, but seems to have some sort of problem with representing teeth, for some reason. Also, occasionally, things which are items are interpreted as part of a person's clothing - eg when the doll a child is holding is interpreted as an integral part of her dress when she raise her hands !

I spent an evening with old photos and…
I spent an evening with old photos and picked one of my parents from their younger days - it's always been a favorite. Seeing it animated gave me a fresh way to enjoy it. The subtle movements were the best part, yet the original still felt completely familiar. I also liked that everything happened right in the browser with no app to install. It made for a pleasant project at home, and choosing which picture to try was part of the fun. For me the real appeal was turning something already personal into a short video I could watch next to the original photograph.
