Had a great experience with Ride Inspect, especially Shaz. The inspection was thorough, professional and gave me a lot more confidence before buying the car. Shaz explained everything clearly, pointed out the things that mattered, and was very easy to deal with throughout the process.

The report was detailed and balanced — not alarmist, but honest about what needed attention. It really helped me buy the car with confidence and know exactly what I was getting into. Really appreciated the quick turnaround as well. Would definitely recommend Ride Inspect and Shaz to anyone looking at buying a used car.

The report from and discussion with the mechanic who conducted the inspection was very informative. This gave me confidence in my purchase. I was also happy with responses via email from the ride inspect office. I found the phone number listed did not connect.

Very easy to organise the inspection. Got the report much quicker than I expected. The report was detailed and thorough. The photos really showed the problem areas, but also the good. Would definitely recommend Ride Inspect!!

Very fast and comprehensive mechanical and visual inspection. Adam was able to complete the work on the same day due to a cancellation and contacted me immediately after the test drive to provide a summary of his findings and make suggestions for upcoming maintenance. It gave me a lot more confidence purchasing a second hand car. Would highly recommend.

Booked the Premium package. Inspection was done within a week and a very comprehensive report was sent. Was able to chat with the mechanic before the report was received to get a summary of what he found. Very helpful. Would use them again.

I highly recommend this company for that peace of mind when buying a car. I’m interstate and recently used them and they made the process incredibly smooth for the vehicle I wanted. They’re very clear, prompt and offer great prices. I highly recommend them. 👍🏼

Incredibly poor inspection. Didn't pick up on a host of issues - see report attached and one done by my local garage - and I have had to make a warranty claim within the first week to return the car for fixing. I paid for the full $395 Premium Inspection and I am staggered how incompetent this turned out to be. Ride Inspect gave car a 4.9/5 and did not pick up on a host of issues:

1) Major mechanical issue with cylinders misfiring and audible noise which I noticed right away when driving it home. Diagnostics show this clearly but nothing picked up on report depsite ' Engine / transmission diagnotic report" being part of what you pay for with inspection. (See screen shot of Ride Inspect report and then garages diagnostic report.)

2) Missed external panel damage completely and then tried to blame the dealers saying they did it after inspection. (They had photos to show it was already there and his own indicate this also)

3) Car was rough to drive, difficult gear changes.

4) Start stop system has an error and doesn't work - this was even shown on the driver screen and they didn't pick it up!!!

5) battery was no good and had to be replaced - this was causing difficulty turning the engine over - again this basic was not picked up in the report!

6) No service done in last 18,000km yet Ride Inspect said it had a full service history - it was already overdue by 3,000km for a service and paperwork not there for that service.

6) Anti squeal shim was out of place & contacting RHF brakes

7) Air con problems picked up in local garage report not Ride Inspects report.

I've had many car inspections done and this car (& dealership) was given a glowing report by Ride Inspect and their 4.9/5 rating ( which you'd only give an exceptional car) gave me a false sense of confidence in buying the car which I have now lived to regret and a whole train of problems and expenses to deal with. I"ve already spent nearly $1400 in the first week and there's more to come no doubt. Look at my google review report / photos & judge for yourself.

Excellent service within a short time frame. Comprehensive report with photos and descriptions, able to work on unusual vehicles no problems.

Quick, thorough and great communication

I had a truck I was nervous about as it was 26 years old but Adam came down, knew exactly what he was looking for, he figured out the minor and semi major issues. I passed these on to the seller and they’ve fixed it before I purchased the truck. Thanks Adam you saved me probably $2000 bucks

Quick, friendly and efficient. Found some issues, explained them, sent report quickly and this helped negotiate an even better price on the car.

There was a very quick response time. Ayman was fantastic and very understanding. He conducted a thorough inspection and detailed his analysis. Despite my little knowledge on cars, he explained everything well and gave me advice! Honestly worth the price!

Adam was on the inspection the very next day during a heatwave! Called me straight after and informed me of a ticking noise, this lead me to find out the car at the dealership had a major engine issue,
