Don't Order If You Need It Anytime Soon

A representative on the chat was extremely helpful when I was selecting a safety stirrup after an injury. Because of that, I purchased the stirrups from Ride Equisafe, even though there are numerous other retailers who sell them. It was a big purchase so it qualified for free shipping. However, it was sent via FedEx "Economy," so I am now not scheduled to recieve the package until at least 2 weeks after purchase. When I chatted in again to find out the source of the delay, the representative was rude, unhelpful and stingy. Catherine has always been so generous, but I will not be ordering from here again.

Hi Cara, thanks so much for alerting me to this. I've reviewed your order history and also pulled the chat log and I think some clarification is needed. You placed your order on April 9th and your item was packaged and a label printed on the same day. It was picked up by FedEx on the 10th. You elected for free shipping, which is always economy ground. At no point did you inquire about expedited shipping nor did you indicate needing the item by a certain date when we spoke during our consultation.

Once a package is picked up by FedEx, it is unfortunately beyond our control. There was indeed a hiccup with FedEx during transit, resulting in a delay. Please keep in mind that we ship from North Carolina and you are located in Colorado. It should be expected that it takes 5-7 business days for arrival.

Upon pulling the chat log, you were met with promptness and courtesy, even when bemoaning that we had "sent your package by camel." You then demanded that we overnight you another item or provide a discount code for a future purchase, even though you had been extended a discount code for this purchase.

While I understand the excitement in awaiting an order, short of personally delivering the item to your door, there's not much else we could have done to assure quick delivery, as the item was out our door less than twelve hours after the order was placed, demonstrating our commitment to customer service and speedy shipment.

I understand that sometimes people have bad days and take frustrations out on others, but our team really did everything possible to meet expectations. I hope you have better luck shopping elsewhere in the future.

Ride EquiSafe has been so helpful and incredibly quick to respond. I really wanted a pair of safety stirrups but didn’t know where to begin. Catherine was so helpful in sharing the different options and helping me figure out what is the best for me. And she was SO right. I love my flex-on Iron S stirrups. If you have any questions they are so great with helping. Don’t hesitate to reach out to them.

Excellent Service - Helmet Purchase

Wonderful. This is my 2nd purchase and I always feel like I’m in good hands, getting trusted safety standards from educated staff. I got a FreeJump/Penelope air vest a couple years ago and just got the new FreeJump Voronoi helmet now. It was hard to decide what worked best for me, fit me, best safety ratings etc. Other stores just don’t take safety as serious and with style. Katherine is educated, compassionate, wants what is best for “you” and offers a very personalized experience and is accessible. Her personalized experience, which just is being her natural authentic self, is what makes me continue to come back and to make these big ticket item/important purchases. AND this is all from doing remote/virtual with Katherine since I live in a different state.

Ride Equisafe now has a store at WEC Ocala, which was so great to see as I was able to try on this helmet in-person to make sure it fit the way it was supposed to.

Bad customer service

I made an order. Order was shipped in two package. One of them never made it and right away contacted equi safe to let them know. Since then nothing has been done. I still don’t have the shirt I paid for.

Update - 3/11 - still nothing from their end. I paid for a shirt that I never received. This is my first order and will be my last. Terrible customer service

UPDATED AS OF 3/12: Hello Laurie, thank you for your feedback. Between 2/24 and today, we have exchanged 24 emails regarding this topic. This level of communication as well as our efforts to have the delivery investigated is certainly not "nothing from their end."

Per our tracking records, your item was ordered on February 19th, shipped on the same day, and was delivered on February 23rd to the mailbox at the address specified, tracking number USPS 420330209300110597205193390601. We have exchanged a total of 10 emails with you regarding the situation and also promptly opened an investigation with USPS to determine if the package was in fact delivered or if there was a delivery issue, so we've gone through quite extensive efforts to address the situation.

In order to perform all due diligence, we did look up the delivery address where the package was delivered. Your home is in a very urban, densely populated area of Miami with the mailbox directly on the sidewalk of a heavily trafficked area. The package was delivered to the mailbox, as clearly specified by the tracking information. You indicated that you did not have a security camera to monitor your property , nor did you request a signature release.

The determination made by USPS after putting a trace on the package was that it was indeed successfully delivered. Unfortunately, as stated in our shipping policy, we are not responsible for mail theft. We know that porch piracy is on the rise, which is deeply frustrating for all involved.
