Great service
Our driver arrived on time and stayed in contact with us from the moment our flight landed until we came out of the airport. When we exited, he was already there waiting for us. He was very professional, and we had a safe and smooth journey. The vehicle was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. This was my first time using this service, and I will definitely use it again in the future. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It all went smoothly. The driver contacted us when we landed at Manchester AirPort, told us where to meet the driver. Drove us safely to York. The car was nice and clean and a very nice driver! I highly reccomend this company to others!

Avoid this company at all costs!! They left us stranded in Manchester Airport in the middle of the night with a toddler and ended up costing us a significant amount of money.

We specifically chose RideX/Goldcrest Transfers because they offered the option to book a car seat for our 2 year old daughter for the one hour journey from the airport to our home. We even paid an extra £6 for the car seat.

When the driver arrived, there was no car seat at all. We were then made to wait 45 minutes at the airport while they went to find one. When they eventually returned, they brought a booster seat, which is not suitable or safe for a 2 -year old.

As we did not want to sacrifice the safety of our daughter, it left us stranded at the airport in the middle of the night after an 8 hour flight with a toddler. We were forced to book a hotel for £90, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. The following morning, we had to arrange transport with a different taxi company, which cost us more than twice the price of our original RideX/Goldcrest Transfers booking.

Despite failing to provide the service we paid for, RideX/Goldcrest transfers has REFUSED to refund the amount of £109 which we paid when booking the ride. We never stepped foot in their vehicle because they failed to provide the child car seat that was the entire reason we booked with them.

The company has been a complete scam, unreliable, unprofessional, and extremely difficult to communicate with throughout the process. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding RideX/Goldcrest Transfers and booking with a more reputable company instead. In total we ended up paying £370 to get from Manchester airport to Wakefield because of RideX/Goldcrest Transfers.

Agreed a price for a cab from Stansted for 2 persons with no bags. Confirmed with an email.Whilst on the plane at Glasgow I received a call saying that the driver was not happy with the price and wanted more money. I told her that the price was agreed and if the driver was unhappy that was between him and the company and that I was not prepared to pay anything other than the agreed price. On landing I had received a text saying the driver had broken down and I was to receive a refund for my deposit
I don’t believe that the driver had broken down. Absolute cowboy outfit bordering on scam Left me stranded at the airport post midnight
DO NOT USE !! As a Blue Light card holder I will be placing this review on their and various sites
