Ridley Academy レビュー

Very disappointing experience.

The Masterclass didn’t teach me anything revolutionary that I couldn’t have learned for free on YouTube. I completed the masterclass mainly to qualify for the refund policy, but after requesting it, I was ignored for WEEKS.

Their “Chargeback Waiver” also felt very misleading and discouraging toward contacting my bank. I eventually had to dispute the charge through my bank to get my refund.

Overall, the customer service and handling of the refund process felt very disrespectful and the course feels like a scam if you are actually trying to master the piano

Nashville Music Experience by

I love the Ridley Academy's piano method, because it has an alternative teaching approach. I am new at playing the piano and I understand what is being taught to me. This gives me the confidence that I will play the piano one day. Thank you for making piano easy to understand for everyone.

Wish I’d known about Trust Pilot before I got suckered into this.

The Ridley Academy makes learning piano fun. The way it is taught, from step to step, is very helpful for me. I am working on scales now and the explanation of how to learn the major and minor scales is brilliant. Before, I thought I had to memorize each notes scale. Now I can consistently play them, slowly at first, but I am getting there. I truly enjoy learning the piano with Stephen.

I've been practicing scales, using both hands. It has been difficult for me, and with practice, it improves quickly.

What I learned from this course is to back up if I cannot do a later step, to an earlier step I did not fully master. This is incredibly useful and in each practice, I continue to have wins in playing.

As a result of this course, and continued winning (and I do enjoy practicing) I restored my love of playing music. I was not entirely cognizant of that until I walked into an empty music laboratory at a college recently. I was in heaven, smiling ear to ear. I played multiple keyboards. I played several guitars. I even played the drums! I could have stayed in there for centuries!

That showed me how much I gained from this course, and made me even more determined to study this instrument and master it.

I thank you all for that.

I love the Piano masterclass. It's well structured, the videos are well made and Stephen explains the topics really good. He has a very motivating attitude. And what is even better. All my questions are quickly answered, by knowledgeable staff and they are able to make me feel good, even if I feel stupid. It is helping me to understand music better and I just love it. I always thought it would be difficult to play with two hands, but somehow it is made easy and I make quicker progress than I ever thought would be possible.

ON LEVEL ONE: I went back MANY times... to clarify and make sure I had it in my head that each lesson is a building block.. it has taken me MONTHS to unblock my fears and complete...Jeez, I hope I get this right!

This is an amazing course! Stephen gave me the tools to achieve my goal to play piano in less than 6 months!

It worth it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Truly Life-Changing Win

I hurt my back over a year ago, and since then I haven’t been able to sit at my keyboard or practice the way I used to. It’s been a long, painful, and honestly discouraging journey. But after taking Stephen’s five-day class — feeling his energy in the live sessions and the passion he puts into every lesson — something inside me finally woke back up.

For the first time in over a year, I want to practice again. Even if I can only play for a few minutes at a time, it feels like I’m reconnecting with a part of myself I thought I’d lost. That alone is a huge win for me.

Because of my back, I might not be able to make the final video like we’re supposed to… but the progress I’ve made still feels incredible. Just having the desire and motivation to sit at my keyboard again means more to me than I can say.

Thank you, Stephen, for giving me hope, encouragement, and a path back to something I love.

The new Piano Teacher of Today. Very personable, great connection with his students, tremendous amount of Experience. Thank you Stephen and your Team for this creative and great Training Week!

I love this interactive experience and have learned so much and have grown through this

Well paced, engaging for all levels, Stephen’s eager for music to come alive in his students.

After a childhood filled with violin lessons, I took a lengthy break from music during adulthood. However, my passion for music never faded. Once I retired, I decided to rekindle that passion by hiring a guitar teacher and a piano teacher from a local music store. Although they were pleasant instructors, their focus was mostly on younger students. When I discovered the Ridley Academy, it was clear I needed a new approach. The program is designed specifically for adult learners, offering the support and structure I needed. While I came in knowing how to read sheet music, the academy has expanded my understanding and skills tremendously. Stephen, along with my mentor, helped transform me from someone who just tapped melodies on surfaces into an actual piano player. I'm far from being the next Elton John, but thanks to this course and its guidance, I've opened up both my mind and fingers to new possibilities. Now, I can revisit old sheet music from my collection and bring them to life. Carnegie Hall isn’t quite in my sights yet, but maybe next year!

It would give it a 5 star but I have some problems trying to understand my mentor
She's in Italy
Nice hey
Anyway I.had asked her once to.stop.clg me madame and apparently madame.meams you are.a very nice person etc I had to apologize bc over here it just means im getting older
LOL
On.the other hand.she is.a.very friendly person
Im in the mist of throwing.out my old piano and purchasing.tjr electronic one
It starts.witj a.C
The old.one.i.got.from.a.friend is too old and/or the fact.that.she stored it in.a quanset did not it. It's almost like.a.barn but made of metal. As I.comtinue my lessons.im more and more excited to.get that.new one in here. Between myself and AI, I've already found the.nest dealership to.go.to, learned what to.check on the piano; for.example make sure to press a.key down.and look to.the side of the key to make sure its wood, not.plastic
Any model number in this piano.should have a 4 in the middle of its model number ie.845
He also gave me some terminology to use so I don't.sound like i.habe.no ideas about pianos
Also I.just completed Stephen's session.on.what the piano.parts.are for.and what they are.called
Im ready to.spemd.apptox $3500 for.a piano.and I've learned how to get the sale on.a.set of headphones for.free. im so excited
This is what.Stephens class has done.for me along with what I've learned so.far. This is.high motivation to.get.the older piano.out of her that.can.not even be tuned or.i.guess.he.coild easily break the strings on it
So out with the old and in with the new.
I have to thank Stephen and his team so far on what I've accomplished. Ive always loved MUSIC. Plus ive always wanted to learn how to play piano
Bc of 7 kids and one awesome mother, we made it thru the basics, like to.grade 12 and there was definitely no money for piano lessons. Now im in a position to buy a new one and learned more than just a few tunes that I learned by ear. I have through the years learned keys and.chords. Just very basic stuff. I.feel great awesome peaceful when I play the piano
I.can hardly wait to get that piano.and get going again on my classes..thanks Stephen so far for what I've learned so far and bc Stephen created the modules in a way anyone can understand them I've learned so much already..see there was a purpose to not.being able to.get lessons paid for. I would have learned useless and confusing information but skipped all that and found Stephen on line...thanks again and again Stephen. I.cant wait for that knew piano.and i .can hardly wait to start playing a piano that.can.be tuned plus its brand knew. Holy moly im just going for it. I cant that Stephen and his team.so far for.all.ibe learned and will continue to learn

Ridley Academy has rekindled my love for messing around with music. The well-structured course takes you through bite-sized chunks of achieveable activites/drills that, when completed, gives a real sense of satisfaction. I'm about halfway way through and loving it all as much as day one.

I love the way Stephen teaches how to play music. It definitely makes it so much easier. I like his style. It makes a lot of sense to me. I feel well equipped to continue to learn on my own. Nothing seems scary.

From a young age, I always wanted to play the piano but never took lessons AND I m happy I didn’t. You see traditional lessons would have been a bust for me. So I learned to play the guitar (not ready for live entertainment) by ear, learning chords, playing for seniors etc.
But still, in the back of my mind was the desire to play the piano. So I took the RIDLEY step and have never regretted doing so. Starting at age 76, I found this program a great fit BECAUSE the plan WORKS. Small steps built upon small steps that work. Just follow the plan!

We only have one ticket for this journey called life. Make the most of it!

Stephen Ridley make Music on Piano , simple and keep the students motivated . If you just begin piano or you have many years of piano lessons , you continue to improve your techniques and the interpretation of musical song. You feel the music with passion . Never forget your dream to learn piano, by learning with the Ridley Academy , Thanks .

Step by step teaching from the first. I play piano as my daughter used to play before leaving home and felt that piano needs a companion.
Joined the masterclass and decided to enroll to learn properly. With practice, I am sure that I will play good music with patience & continued practice.
