We are so full of gratitude for the masterclass and the encouragement of the Ridley Academy. It is the best piano teacher ever. He is full of energy and that you can feel in every video and call and gives us energy to continue.

The program and fun and doable! It is great to capture a bit of Stephen's passion, and have hope I can achieve a new goal of learning to play the piano.

Joining the community of the Ridley Academy a year and half ago, has brought so much comfort and support. My adult son was killed by a hit and run driver on a rainy night in Seattle Washington.
My heart is broken. Grief will always be with me, but can be transformed into love and beauty. Stephen’s selfless spirit and dedication to his students has brought me out of a deep depression. I’m so thankful for all of you who have supported me. You’ve been my light at the end of this tunnel I’ve been crying through. Tears are so healing ❤️‍🩹.
My journey through life has been filled with artistic expression. I was a dancer, art model, midwife and writer.
When I started thinking about the piano, Stephen’s Utube video showed up on my
feed right after my thoughts of the piano I knew this was not a coincidence. It was a gift. Watching Stephen at his red piano with his red shoes and captivating personality, I knew I had found exactly what I needed.

I feel SO lucky to have found Stephen and the Ridley Academy. His enthusiasm and encouragement and way of working is absolutely brilliant. I am SO SO wanting to spend every day and hour practicing now !!! I have signed up for the Masterclass and Mentorship. Having learnt piano when I was a child (60 years ago!) by following notes on a page, I am SO SO excited to be learning to play without written music, and to sing too !! Thanks Stephen (& Team) 😀

I joined the 5 day challenge and won a piano after learning a song in 5days which Stephan breaks down very simply even a child could do it. Absolutely over the moon and recommend this company to everyone from all levels and backgrounds

Stephen's enthusiasm and his love for this beautiful instrument.I am an intermediate pianist and was looking for improvement to my existing skills and learned a few new chords and have access to a number of well known songs.

It was fascinating to see how Stephen and his team mastered the five-day challenge. Putting together such an organization and dealing with any problems that might arise, such as communication issues, as well as sending tips for creating music videos and transmitting them, etc., was simply fantastic.
Stephen explained to us with great simplicity how a song is played and how the vocals are integrated at the same time. It was divided into many small stages, which was excellent for beginners and advanced learners alike.
The result at the end of the five-day challenge was simply magnificent.
His team was on hand as soon as the slightest problems arose.
The natural and very emotional nature of Stephen and his team swept us all away. They managed to get everyone to complete the 5-day challenge successfully, full of vigor and enthusiasm. We all pulled together. Everything was connected: understanding, joy, excitement, challenge, encouragement, support.
Stephen has developed a unique method of learning piano that will enchant current and future students.
For me, it was a wonderful journey into the world of music and a challenge to grow beyond myself.

I recently took Stephen’s 5 day challenge enjoyed it so much I decided to take his Masterclass. I really love his energy and team as well very professional and helpful. I am a beginner never had a teacher on piano yet I do believe he is my best bet on getting me to play in front of people and playing with confidence, and further enhance my singer songwriting skills at the same time can’t wait to see what my review in 6 months will be. This course is AMAZING! Stephen's energy and enthusiasm makes it so much more engaging, and the lessons are simple, powerful, fun, and easy to master. I am thrilled I jumped on this opportunity and am becoming the masterful pianist I always dreamed of being!

We bought a digital piano almost 3 years ago. It was sitting in our living room collecting dust along with a set of microphone and a mic stand sitting in unopened boxes. We bought the piano even though we couldn't play it fantasizing that some day I would be able to play it. I saw the ad for Stephen's 5-day-piano challenge. I hesitated in the beginning but then decided to give it a try and I'm so glad that I did it. The 5 day piano challenge was an amazing journey and transformation. I went from a total beginner who could only play some single notes with one hand to being able to play both melodies and chords with both hands, plus using the sustain pedal and singing along. It was pretty magical. I don't know much about music theory. But by following Stephen's step-by-step guidance, I was able to start playing songs, singing along and sound pretty good (even though I stumble here and there and make lots of mistakes). The Ridley methods really worked the magic! Stephen is such a fun person. His energy and enthusiasm is very infectious and inspiring. I'm planning to sign up for Stephen's Christmas Song Course so I can play some Christmas songs this Christmas. I can't wait. Thank you so much Stephen and the staff for doing this awesome 5-day piano challenge and for inspiring us. I'm looking forward to more piano challenges to come in the near future!

Stephen is a wonderful teacher! Breaks down the often complicated process of learning piano into small easy steps. You understand what you’re doing and why but he also shows you how to build your skills. In the 5 day challenge I learned loads and really enjoyed the experience.

I like how the Ridley method teaches us how to do scales, not in a boring way, not having to learn all the notes for each scale, separately, but give us a mnemonic to use the tones and semi-tones approach!

What a energy he provides... a method to build up a confidence again, a team of support, short videos to make it simple, but efficient! to move only towards succes as they are short, only one think to focus on, and then put it all together makes it a wonderpeace. I must say it help me enourmously to get back on track, to dare sing and play, to dare submit a challenge, to dare discover part of me who just needed to be trusted to be discovered and unleashed. And its FUN and I feel so more free in front of a piano.

The best quick and easy way to learn a piano. Even when you think you are hopeless, Stephen is able to convince you to try and you WILL learn. Best spent money ever.

I’ve just completed the five-day “Easy Piano in Five Days” challenge, and I’m compelled to share how great it was. I’m a true novice, yet the title alone drew me in, and the price made it an easy yes. Under the guidance of Stephen Ridley—whose unique teaching method is nothing short of brilliant—I joined over 1,400 students, all of us learning, stretching, and genuinely excited by the progress we made.
Students at every level gained tremendously from the experience. Everyone at the Academy was encouraging, helpful, responsive, and genuinely kind. I can truly see myself being part of this community long-term — and finally accomplishing a goal I’ve carried since childhood.

This program does a great job of breaking down the needed steps to play piano so the student builds the skills and strengths needed to play with confidence. Materials and videos are well produced and available for life. The founder Stephen Ridley is the most enthusiastic presenter and coach. He is supported by a team of coaches and technical staff that keeps the engine running. Very responsive to student needs and questions. Lots of great add-ons like the mentoring program and singing course. Takes you from zero to hero on playing the piano.

I did the Ridley 5 day challenge course. I enjoyed the classes and really received so much great piano playing information. I went from no piano experience to being able to play my first song.

Stephen from Ridley Academy, certainly delivered on the 5 day course last week! I joined Ridley’s Masterclass late in 2023 and was making good progress. I had to stop for a while and found it difficult to
get started again. With Stephen and his team’s excellent coaching I am now able to play my first song in 5 days “ Let it be”. Even though it’s by no means perfect, it’s given me the incentive to start back on daily practising and using the many tricks I learnt from Stephen. Well done!
