Alquile un vehículo por 2 días y me cobraron un depósito por 12.000 quetzales, (1.568 dólares) además de los seguros que ya había pagado antes, dicho depósito debía reembolsarse en un máximo de 48 horas después de entregado en vehículo, el cual fue entregado en Perfecto estado el 10/10/25, sin embargo ha pasado un mes y el dinero no me ha sido reembolsado. Me he comunicado con el funcionario de Right Cars que nos atendió en Guatemala pero no ma han dado respuesta.
Me parece una falta de respeto y poco profesional, que ustedes como empresa pongan al usuario desde otro país a que incurra en la tramitología para poder recibir un dinero que ustedes deben devolver.

Aucun remboursement de la caution après un mois d'attente et aucun retour de la part de la société que ce soit par mail ou par téléphone.
Problème sur le véhicule durant le séjour et toujours aucune assistance ni réponse de leur part durant le séjour.

My experience with Right Cars in the Dominican Republic was extremely traumatic and disappointing. If I were to describe everything in detail, this review would be far too long—but I’ll summarize the main issues so others can avoid going through the same.

1️⃣ Misleading pricing: They advertise very low rental rates but never mention the extremely high insurance cost. I was charged USD 46 per day for insurance—which made absolutely no sense since the car itself cost less than half of that.

2️⃣ Wrong vehicle: I booked a Hyundai Cantus Compact or similar but was given a tiny, unknown Chinese brand that looked nothing like what I reserved.

3️⃣ Excessive deposit: They tried to hold USD 2,000 “just in case” without providing a clear reason.

4️⃣ Illegal passport retention: They kept my U.S. passport during the entire rental period—something that is absolutely illegal and unacceptable.

5️⃣ Wasted time and lack of transparency: We spent almost four hours at the counter trying to find a solution regarding the insurance. After comparing with other rental companies, we found the average insurance rate was around USD 16 per day, yet we still ended up paying USD 26 daily, which was still excessive.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was filled with deceptive practices, poor customer service, and unethical behavior. My sincere advice: rent from a well-known, reputable company where prices are clear and you won’t be surprised with hidden charges or unfair treatment.

Bei der Übergabe wurde nicht erwähnt das man nicht zum Touristenhotspot Balos Beach fahren darf. Das Auto hat ein Geo Tracker und es wurden 150€ Strafe von der Kreditkarte gebucht. Die Straße ist so ausgeschildert und der Weg sogar mit einer Maut berechnet sowie der Parkplatz mit hunderten Autos kostenpflichtig. Diese Autovermietung betrügt seine Kunden arglistig. Eine Anzeige bei Check 24 ist eingereicht und zusätzlich dem Anwalt übergeben.

First the pick up was terrible. Someone should be waiting for us at the airport. Nobody was there. After calling the company multiple times without any respons a turkish taxi driver helped us and they came to pick us up.
The first car we they gave us had a lot of damage. The radio didn’t work and the car itself was allready with a lot of damages on the outside. We got another car. A little bit Better but still damaged. The tank was completely empty.
They took 1200 deposit that we would get back after bringing te car back in the same condition as we got it.
After a week we brought the car back without any damages.
They took the deposit of 1200 euro anyway! I’m still waiting on my money back. Haven’t had a reply or anything so far.

Please don’t rent your car here! Worst Rental experience so far ever.

This right-cars rental is a scam. They have so many hidden fees due and they make customers buy there insurance even if tje clients have there own insurance or bought insurance through the website. Don't fall for their cheap price, it all a lie. Go with known companies. I'll never get a car rental form them ever again.

Hired a Car at Antalya Airport. Was asked to pay over £1000 deposit. Was told the deposit would be returned within 28 working days, it wasn't.
I contacted Head Office in the UK, who chased it up for me and sent me a Bank Receipt showing payment would be made on 15/10. It wasn't. Since then Head Office hasn't replied to any of my emails. I have now raised it as a dispute with my Credit Card company. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

I 100% agree with the other reviews -- this agency is running a scam with undisclosed and hidden admin/insurance fees that aren't presented until check-in and required in order to proceed. They barely provide minimum standards for rental agencies, utilize virtual agents who make "offers" to you for the final cost, but clearly can adjust the price themselves if wanted. I experienced this. Spoke with two agents, each offering a different final price and the second agent asked me what the first offered. ITS A SCAM.

The advanced check in process online doesn't work. The phone number to contact them was pointless -the calls go nowhere. No one answers. I paid three times what I expected to pay and was unable to cancel because it was the last minute and there were no other rentals available. The check in process was awful, inefficient, and unprofessional. The car itself was incredibly basic and the value did not meet the cost I paid. I was quoted $40 and ended up paying almost $150.

Customers are required to utilize a specific shuttle service. I waited 45 minutes for their shuttle and called them twice for assistance. I would have hired an Uber to take me there faster, but no address was provided by RC. The bathroom at the rental facility was disgusting - dirty and had no toilet paper. It was obvious no one had cleaned it in days. In 20 years, this is the worst rental agency I've ever had business with. Avoid at all costs

C'est une agence à fuir totalement, ce sont des voleurs , ils arnaquent leurs clients en n acceptant pas leur carte de crédit et poussent donc ceux-ci à prendre une assurance supplémentaire si ils veulent récupérer leur location de voiture . Nous avons négocié 2 heures avec ses escrocs, même notre banque les a formellement expliqué que notre carte était bien une carte de crédit demandée dans le contrat de location mais rien à faire nous avons donc payé 430 euros de plus . Ce sont des voleurs , des escrocs, des bandits etc...

Zdecydowanie nie polecam. Wynajęliśmy samochód na Islandii (Bogatröð 1 Reykjanesbær, 262), samochód miał bardzo 7 dosyć dużych uszkodzeń - wgniecenie karoserii, otarcia itp. Oprócz uszkodzeń zgłoszonych w protokole odbioru miał jeszcze kilkanaście mniejszych uszkodzeń których nie sposób zliczyć. Podczas oddawania samochodu Pan z wypożyczalni zapytał mnie czy podczas odbioru samochodu wykonałem prywatnie zdjęcia samochodu, gdy mu je pokazałem pokazał mi drobną rysę w miejscu które na moich zdjęciach było niewidoczne. Powiedział że koszt usunięcia tej szkody w ich warsztacie to 955 euro, lub mogą wysłać samochód do innego warsztatu i koszt będzie dużo wyższy. Po odmowie zapłaty i wyjściu z biura, Pan wrócił w propozycją promocji - koszt 600 €. Moim zdaniem to był klasyczny przykład wyłudzenia, wypożyczalnia nie naprawia powstałych uszkodzeń, wypożycza uszkodzone samochody i pobiera dodatkowe opłaty za to że ktoś nie sfotografował każdego cm samochodu podczas odbioru. Użytkowałem samochód bardzo ostrożnie, nie miałem żadnego incydentu, zadbałem o to by oddać samochód w takim stanie jak go odebrałem, odkurzając i czyszcząc wnętrze, a w zamian za to zapłaciłem za szkodę której nie spowodowałem i byłem zastraszany, że jeżeli nie zapłacę to z mojej kary kredytowej zostanie pobrana znacznie wyższa kwota. Czuję się oszukany i na pewno nigdy więcej nie skorzystam z ich usług. Wypożyczalnia została polecona podczas rezerwacji lotów na stronie Wizzair i dziwi mnie to, że linie lotnicze polecają takie firmy - wstyd.

If you enjoy wasting hours of your life, getting lied to with a straight face, and arguing over nonsense, then by all means – book your rental here. Otherwise, RUN.
All the terrible reviews below? 100% real. We should’ve listened. These crooks are running the same scam over and over again:

Blah blah blah – absolute BULLSH*T.
They’re just stalling, looking for any excuse to cancel your reservation or upsell you something ridiculous -their insurance.
After wasting way too much time with their pathetic excuses, we had no choice but to cancel the rental entirely.
This place is not a car rental agency – it’s a trap. Save yourself the headache and avoid at all costs. You've been warned.

The cars are already damaged and you can whisle to your (deposit) money.

La pire expérience de location de voiture de ma vie.
• Aucune indication à l’arrivée : impossible de savoir où se rendre pour récupérer le véhicule. Après avoir appelé, j’ai dû attendre plus de 20 minutes qu’on vienne me chercher.
• Caution abusive : on vous impose une caution de 650 € restituée seulement 28 jours après restitution du véhicule, sans aucune explication claire. Rien n’est écrit dans les conditions, et l’agent sur place invente des excuses. En lisant les avis d’autres clients, j’ai découvert que beaucoup ne revoyaient jamais leur caution. C’est du vol déguisé.
• Assurance forcée : ils poussent à payer 100 € d’assurance supplémentaire pour éviter la caution. Si vous réservez chez eux, prenez l’assurance, mais surtout ne laissez pas de caution !
• Véhicule non conforme : je n’ai pas eu la voiture réservée mais une catégorie en dessous, en mauvais état, avec des dégâts visibles. Impossible d’obtenir une meilleure catégorie : « tous les véhicules supérieurs étaient en panne » selon eux.
• Propreté et état lamentables : voiture très sale, odeur désagréable, et cerise sur le gâteau, le réservoir vide avec la jauge d’essence déjà allumée.

Cette société est à fuir absolument. Elle donne une image catastrophique dès l’arrivée dans un pays pourtant magnifique comme la Turquie.

Pick-up was prima geregeld. Daarna papieren rompslomp langs kant van de weg maar oké. Wel heel raar dat de kosten van de extra bestuurder elke keer varieerden. Medewerker zei eerst 50 euro en toen wij aangaven dat het 5,00 per dag was en niet meer gingen betalen ging hij ineens akkoord met die 35,00. De drop-off was op zich ook prima maar ineens moesten we 10 euro contant aan de medewerker geven omdat de buitenkant van de auto niet gewassen was?!?!?! Dat hebben we geweigerd en wilden hoofdkantoor bellen maar ineens hoefde dat niet meer dus de medewerker probeerde het gewoon even om een extra centje te verdienen. Wees daar attent op. Afhandeling creditcard gelukkig wel goed gegaan.

I would rate zero if I could. They charged hidden fees, like $49.99 admin fee to use my own insurance. The safety deposit was twice what other companies ask for. They required me to show the coverage of my policy, not just the policy number. They use a virtual zoom like process for the check in. The rep was not helpful and could not answer basic questions. He was curt and was difficult to understand. They aren’t located at the airport, it as a 15-20 minute shuttle to their offsite location. I would have walked out if it wasn’t after midnight after a long flight. We found out they are more expensive than other companies after adding in the hidden charges.

Ne loué pas avec eux.
Voiture réservé et payé en euro. Au final il font semblant qu'il ne prenne que les cartes de crédit en Turkish Lira (ce qui est faux, il y a 2 ans il prenait bien les Euros. )

Au final il rajoute une assurance à 300€ (oui cette fois pour prendre des Euros cela marche bien. )

La voiture ne se fermait pas a clef, nous avons tenté de les contacter plusieurs fois, ils ne répondent pas ni par écrit ni par appel.

Egalement, il ne vous prendrons pas à l'aéroport, il faut appeler quand on arrive et ils viennent 30/40mn ensuite vous prendre.
