My mortgage advisor recommended Right Choice Conveyancing and whilst this is not my first purchase I needed ongoing support due to the complexity of my purchase. Mantas, Anisha and Fani were all excellent, they were exactly what I needed to feel understood, supported and protected with my purchase. Mantas was reassuring, professional and guided me through the whole process. I would absolutely recommend RCC, I feel they have a very different approach to any other conveyancer I have dealt with recently and I couldn’t have asked for a more attentive team. Overall, very good and I highly recommend Right Choice Conveyancing on the basis of my experience.

I have only a couple of small quibbles on areas for improvement.

More about some of the especially good points:

* Very responsive; whenever I had a query or needed to check on something or discuss a point, I could almost always get through to the solicitor on my case (Kelly) or another team member who was either able to help directly, or arrange a call back from the solicitor.
* The Right Choice team were always on top of things. Although there were some frustrating delays in the process, it was great that every time these turned out to be due to the sellers and their solicitors —the team at Right Choice were always good at turning things around quickly and chasing the sellers solicitors to try to keep things moving along. When there were some wobbles, it was great to be able to speak with the estate agent from a strong position in which the issues were clearly on the sellers' side.

The minor quibbles:

* Sometimes the current state of progress could've been a bit clearer or more up to date in the portal — although still pretty good over all, and better than most conveyancers I imagine. It's also good having the portal as a secure reference point for progress and place to upload sensitive documents. This is one of the reasons that I wanted a conveyancer that uses a modern, digital-first approach, as Right Choice Conveyancing does.

* Given that I was funding the majority of my deposit from a Stocks & Shares ISA, I was surprised to learn that I had to draw down and transfer the cash to my bank account *before exchange of contracts*, rather than after exchange and before completion. This seems odd to me given that once you transfer out of an S&S ISA and lose the benefits you can't reverse this — so it'd make sense to do it only after you know the parties are legally committed, that is, *after* exchange of contracts.
I didn't manage to determine whether this is a real inescapable requirement or just a Right Choice policy. It didn't matter in the end, as all went to plan — but if the sale had fallen through before contracts were exchanged, then I would've been greatly disadvantaged. You might want to find out more about this in advance if you're in a similar position.

The whole team has been fantastic. This was not a simple move as the owner passed away a couple of weeks before completion, and Right Choice kept us well informed, pursued the necessary channels without prompt to ensure we could move in on the original date, but under license to occupy. We have now successfully completed and want to thank the whole team - with special mention to Hannah S and Becky - for all their efforts on this. We will definitely use them in the future!

Sara and the team were helpful and clear about the process of buying a house. They use a portal systen that shows you where you are in the process. The team were good at getting back to me when I had any queries and managed my anxiety when things inevitable get more stressful.

Smooth experience, portal made the process easy and clear. Everyone was very helpful on the phone when I had queries.

All online via a portal which is great. The % completion indicator was also good. Sent information over promptly and replied to emails promptly too. The only issue we had was a short exchange to completion time meaning it was all a bit rushed at the end but I think that was circumstantial.
