I discovered Ripio Turismo from an internet search several years ago when I was first planning a trip to Iguazu Falls to follow a cruise around South America. Due to COVID, our cruise was cancelled and rescheduled several times, but I maintained contact with Ripio during that period. The original agent was responsive and very easy to work with, customizing our tour to suit our preferences. When she left Ripio Turismo, Ramiro Rodriguez took over our proposed itinerary. We had booked far in advance, and for over a period of a year or more, I found Ramiro to be helpful, responsive, and patient with my many questions. He tailored the tour to our schedule and followed up with timely issuance of our vouchers and flight documentation once final payment was made. The guides were excellent. The first tour was a half-day private tour of Buenos Aires. The guide met us on time at the cruise terminal and gave us a wonderful tour of the city to get us oriented, and then later in the week we toured on our own. She also suggested a side trip to a small town called Tigre, which is built on a series of canals. It was fascinating, and Ripio offered a very reasonable cost for the half-day Tigre group tour. Our trip to Iguazu went without a hitch. The guide, the drivers, and the flights were all arranged to perfection. We ended up with a private tour of Iguazu Falls, for both the Argentinian and the Brazilian sides. Our guide Lorena was lovely and very enjoyable to be with. I did decide to book our air through Ripio Turismo since I previously had difficulty getting a refund from Aerolineas Argentina (on my fully refundable fare) when COVID caused cancellations. We opted again for the refundable fares, and Ramiro quoted a fair and reasonable price compared to booking directly with the airline. Although Ramiro made hotel suggestions and offered competitive prices, I did book our hotel directly with the venue and ended up with a fabulous Black Friday price on the Gran Melia Iguazu. The advantage of booking with the hotels directly in Argentina was that we also had the advantage of competitive exchange rates with our credit card, and in the end when the credit card statement arrived we were pleasantly surprised that the amount paid was much less than the quoted rates. All in all, we had a great trip and were very pleased with the tours and services offered by Ripio Turismo. I would highly recommend Ripio Turismo for those looking for tours in Argentina.

What do you do when you want to go somewhere you’ve never been, where there is so much to see, but you have limited time and want to make the most of your money?

You find someone who knows what they are doing and benefit from their experience – hello Ripio Turismo! The.Best.Decision.Ever.

We wanted to get an all-around exposure to Argentina, so we found four highly rated travel companies (Signature DMC, Say Hueque, We Argentina, Ripio Turismo) who offered multiple tour options.

We then contacted each by email to discuss options and pricing.

Two of them never answered the query. The third answered after a week. Ramiro at Ripio Turismo answered after 1 day. When you are traveling, you need a company that can and will respond quickly. This is so important.

How a company sells to you is a free sample of how they will serve you. This was a big win for Ripio Turismo!

Between the two remaining companies, Ripio Turismo came in first with the widest palette of travel options.

After communicating with both companies, the itinerary from Ramiro not only best met our needs and flexibility but was also priced fairly for value to cost.

We started with 2 days in Buenos Aires, Mendoza for 4 days, Ushuaia for 3 days, and back to Buenos Aires for the last 4 days. Ripio Turismo arranged all the interior travel, with easy to find drivers at each location after arrival.

Along the way, we had an amazing tour of Buenos Aires (thanks so much Valerie!), sampled wine at 6 amazing vineyards (all were better than any I’ve ever visited in California – thanks so much Maru!), relaxed and hiked by the Beagle Channel in stunning Tierra del Fuego and enjoyed several incredible dinners and lunches included in our itinerary.

I could write for pages on each day’s activities, but instead will simply say we felt valued as customers, cared for in our needs, and impressed by the detailed planning and execution of the entire experience. The choices of hotels, meals, transportation, and activities were top-notch.

I fully recommend Ripio Turismo and we will only use them for any future trip to Argentina.

Lakes Crossing from Bariloche to Puerto Varas. This is the second time now that Ripio Turismo has planned and executed our Lakes Crossing with friends. Both times the event went off exactly as we had planned, thanks to their professional coordination. The next time we plan a trip anywhere in South America, we will contact them. We can count on them!!

My wife and I booked a cruise from Ushuaia to Santiago. We wanted to tour Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls but didn't know how to arrange this trip. We contacted Ripio Truismo for help planning this trip and were glad we did. Lucia Rubio helped us through some iterations to plan our trip. All of our transfers were on time with great drivers. The first day in Buenos Area we did a 3 hour walking tour. The 2nd day we did a 4 hour of the city including a wine tasting. In the evening we were treated to a dinner and Tango show at La Ventana that was a highlight of our time in Buenos Aires. The next day we flew to Puerto Iguazu, Argentina and stayed at the Panoramic Grand Hotel which is located on a bluff above the Iguana River - great location. The next day we had a 1/2 day tour of Iguana Falls from the Brazilian side and then a tour of the Itiapu Dam between Brazil and Paraguay. This is the 2nd largest dam in the world. The next day we had a tour of the Argentinian side of the Falls and then flew back to Buenos Aires to catch our flight to Ushuaia the next morning. Our trip went like clockwork with great tour leaders and drivers. If you want to plan a trip the Buenos Aires, I would recommend using Ripio Truismo.

We had a wonderful two day one night trip to Iguazu Fall. Ramiro communicated very well with me through the process of booking. Our tour guides and drivers were on time, polite, friendly, knowledgeable and kind. The pick up and drop off were smooth. We not only enjoyed the magnificent Iguazu Fall but also experienced the hospitality of the local tour staffs. We have already recommended this tour company to our friends. We will definitively book our tours in the future with Ripiotourismo.

My wife and I completed a cruise to Antarctica but wanted a side trip to visit Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls. We contacted Ripio Turismo and Ramiro Rodriguez arranged an itinerary that fit perfectly with our plans and time available.
All of our airport and hotel transfers went smoothly with excellent drivers. The hotels they selected were superb and our tour guides at both locations were wonderful. Anna gave us an informative tour of Iguazu Falls and the surrounding areas and also a quick visit to shop in Paraguay and a street festival in Brazil. Valaria was our guide in Buenos Aires and did a great job of showing us five different neighborhoods of a very large city in a short time.
I would highly recommend using this tour company for any visits to South America!

EVERYTHING about our experience with Ripio Turismo was positive.

I started working with Ramiro in April. From the beginning, I was ecstatic at the promptness and attention to detail of his responses. He helped me plan the perfect excursion to Iguazu Falls. My wife has mobility issues and he helped me make a great plan working around her issues.

At Ramiro’s suggestion, we hired a private guide for Iguazu. The two days at the Falls were perfect. Ana Kluck, the guide who Ramiro hired was wonderful. She was able to find the correct level of activity for us that made the two days very enjoyable and memorable. Ana is first class!

The flights booked by Ramiro to Iguazu and back to Buenos Aires were flawless. Argentinas Aerolineas is a great airline with caring people. They handled my wife’s mobility issue perfectly.

We booked other activities with Ramiro. All of our transfers in Argentina (all 6 of them) were perfect. All drivers were on time, polite, clean and well dressed. The tours we booked in Buenos Aires before our cruise were both excellent. The evening at Aljibe Tango show was fabulous!

We will definitely recommend Ramiro and Ripio Turismo to any of our friends who will be traveling to South America. Truly, a FIRST CLASS operation!

We had a fabulous time during our three night stay at the Iguazu Grand. The hotel was lovely and both the included and optional tours were great. We especially enjoyed the dinner tango show and the Argentine experience. Flights and transfers went seamlessly. Would definitely recommend RipioTurismo.

Our whole experience with Ripio Turismo was hassle-free and thoroughly enjoyable.
The booking process was very easy to navigate and our Guides for our visits to the Iguazu Falls were really friendly and very knowledgeable, especially Junior. We had a fabulous time!

I was exceptionally pleased with all my interactions with the staff at Ripio Rurismo. From my first email until the end of the trip, all was great. We were met at the airport by a staff member who took us to our hotel. A few minutes later, we were met by Junior and Claudio. Junior was our very knowledgeable guide and Claudio our driver both days. We went to the Brazilian side the first day so we could see the whole wall of falls from a distance. It was a Sunday afternoon in February so it was crowded. The next day, Junior and Claudio picked us up early so we could be at the Argentinian side when the park opened. It was fabulous! After we saw all we wanted to see, Claudio went with us to lunch so we could learn more about both the area and his family. We had time to go to the pool at our hotel before leaving to fly back to Buenos Aires. A wonderful two days.

The scheduling was customized to the activities we preferred. All guides were professional and informative. All pick ups, activities, etc. we're prompt.

My day trip to Iguazu falls was the highlight of my trip to South America. I was hesitant to go by myself as I don't speak Spanish. Ramiro assured me. Everything went smoothly from pick up to the guide at Iguazu(Lorna) who spoke English well and was very helpful and fun as well as a knowledgeable person. The drop-off driver was helpful too. It was truly a 5-star experience. I highly recommend Ripio.

After misunderstanding how to order the activities we wanted from their website, I emailed them and was contacted back promptly by one of their operators who understood what we wanted and immediately set up the necessary vouchers and contacts for those activities. Once we arrived in Iguazu everything went like clockwork - all service providers met their arranged timing, their guides were perfect and made changes on the run when we decided to add something more to our activities, and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience than we had. This was due both to the effectiveness of the operator who set up our activities and the guides given the responsibility for our activities in Iguazu. I am pleased to have the opportunity to write this review.

We were in Iguazu in December for 2 nights. We missed our original flight to Iguazu and Ramiro replied immediately that we would be picked up at the airport for our later flight, no problem. Arrangements for pick-up to the Falls, raft ride at the falls, return for the evening, pick-up to Brazil side, return and pick up for the airport later in the day all went great! So much easier than having to do it all yourself. The guides on all tours were helpful and informative. We highly recommend this company.

Super fast communication, clear explanations, seamless experience even when our flight was delayed by two hours, great tour guides and drivers! I was especially pleased by how easy the air transportation was - getting boarding passes and checking in. Bonus props to driver and guide for their patience when I gave them the wrong (expired!) passport!!

Our dealings with Ripio Turismo were excellent. The holiday was planned pre-Covid lockdowns and everything had to be cancelled and deferred to an unknown date in a very scary time. This was handled so professionaly and well that when we picked up again it was like nothing had happened. We had tours and accommodation in Buenos Aires, 3 days in Iguazu Falls and tours and accommodation in Santiago, plus flights and all transfers to/from airports and cruise ports. Everything ran like clockwork and the tour guides were first class. We were sent messages the day before from the guides confirming pick-up times, or where to meet for transfers and they were always there. I rate these guys as Excellent and recommend them highly. Also, as much as I tried, my spoken Spanish is pretty useless but this team and all the guides spoke perfect English.

From beginning to end, top notch. Prompt and informative email responses to inquiries. Once booked, solid communication and follow up on what to expect from local guide, who turned out to be terrific.
