Located in Gatcombe House, Hilsea, ROK Marsh are an independent family run Estate Agency with over 30 years’ experience in offering a range of services to the local Portsmouth Community and surrounding areas. The process of selling a home can often be stressful, however here at ROK Marsh we offer a personable approach in guiding you every step of the way, to ensure a smooth, successful and stress-free process. -So how does it work? We are here to accommodate your needs from front to back, offering a whole range of services all under one roof, alongside our well-established independent, whole of market brokerage, RBM Solutions. -Valuations – One of our property experts will visit your home to provide you with a free, no-obligation market valuation, using their experience and knowledge of the local area. You will then receive a detailed valuation report explaining how this figure was achieved. Remember the market value will not always be the same price that your property is marketed for. Your agent will discuss with you your motivation for selling, and your future plans, this will help us to decide upon the best way to market your property. We also understand, given the present Covid-19 conditions, a virtual valuation may be required. While physical surveys are always preferred to get a real sense of the property, we have highly experienced staff with great knowledge of the area to complete a virtual valuation for you. -Professional Marketing – Once you are happy to proceed, the agent who visited your home will then create an advert with your input, to market your property, this will involve taking some professional photographs and drawing up a detailed floor plan. Your advert will then be added to our website and social media pages such as Facebook and Instagram, but more importantly Rightmove and Zoopla, where 98% of buyers begin their search! With your permission we will then come out and erect one of our For Sale boards. -Mortgages & Conveyancing Certificates – If you need a hand sorting a mortgage or finding solicitors, our in-house team at RBM will be more than happy to arrange this for you. We have excellent pre-existing relationships with several solicitors which is key in a smooth transaction. -Viewings – You are welcome to host your own viewings or let one of our agents take care of this for you so you can sit back and relax, focus on the next steps, or even just sit and enjoy a nice cuppa! -Negotiating – Your agent will handle offers & negotiations to achieve the best price. We would already have had a conversation to establish the price you are wanting to attain. -Other Services – We can assist with Energy Performance Certificates and Specialist Surveys, and recommend local decorators, removal companies and waste clearance services. -We are here for you! – Your agent will be with you every step of the way until your property is sold. Positive experience, thanks to Garreth!

Garreth was fantastic throughout our process of purchasing a new property! We faced some complications, as often happens when buying a house, but Garreth was present throughout, kept regular contact and remained positive which we needed. Every question we had was answered by Garreth and we can’t fault the support he provided. Highly recommend Rok Marsh and particularly Garreth!!

Remortgage and selling

I did a remortgage and put my house on the market ! Leoni was amazing with my mortgage as the deadlines were tight and she kept in constant communication with me. Matt and his team were great with the house and viewings and the app was really useful.

26 fern Rd via Rokmarsh

Always had a good rapport/relationship with Danielle Kelly of Rokmarsh. She kept me informed of all visits /checks that had to be carried out aswell as any issues I may have had during my 3yr tenancy and it was just a shame that the constant rent increase forced my hand to leave. Overall my experience with Rokmarsh was positive and have no complaints.

Great experience with ROK Marsh

Great experience with ROK Marsh. They communicate clearly, are polite, professional and just lovely. They go above and beyond and think outside the box about how to attract new buyers for more viewings. I have now accepted an offer and they have even helped with the process of me buying my next house.

Garreth was amazing

Garreth was easily the best estate agent I have ever worked with.

Our move, despite being only a 3 house chain, had a lot of moving parts, and required a lot of hand holding and guidance from the estate agents.

Garreth could not have been more helpful. He bent over backwards to communicate progress, he stepped in to communcate with other parties where required and kept me constantly informed.

Garreth is clearly very good at his job, and loves it, and it shows. He really has been excellent to work with, for my sale and my purchase.

We had an outstanding experience


We had an outstanding experience working with Leoni and Matt at Rok Marsh Solutions throughout our first home purchase. As first-time buyers, we had so many questions and uncertainties, but they supported us every step of the way with patience, clarity, and genuine care.

Their communication was excellent from start to finish — always quick to respond, easy to reach, and proactive in keeping us updated. They explained everything in a way that was simple to understand, which made a huge difference in helping us feel confident and informed throughout the process.

Leoni and Matt truly went above and beyond to secure the best deal for us and made what could have been a very stressful experience feel smooth and manageable.

We’re incredibly grateful for all their help and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone, especially first-time buyers. Thank you both for helping us achieve such an important milestone!

Perfect Start To This Journey

I spent Saturday morning checking out a two-bedroom terrace in Copnor, and it’s a property with a lot of heart. While I’d probably look at putting my own stamp on the kitchen and bathroom, the bones of the house are great - especially the summer house - the additional space is brilliant.

Garreth from ROK Marsh showed me and my mum around. He was really chilled and easy to deal with, which made the whole viewing feel relaxed rather than a high-pressure sales pitch.

He clearly made a good impression, though, because as soon as we left, my mum turned to me and said, “He was nice!” I had to remind her that I’m looking for a house, not a boyfriend!”

It’s a lovely property, and the only reason I’m not rushing to put an offer in is simply because it’s the very first one I’ve seen on this journey. If this is the starting point for my search, the bar has been set pretty high.

Huge thanks to Garreth for being so helpful and making the first viewing a positive one and to my mum for making it a memorable one! 😂🙈

FTB - looking at options

I'm a first time buyer, and started looking at properties through rightmove and found one that is being sold by ROK Marsh

Had some viewings with Stuart who was really helpful and recommended a different property to the original enquiry which I actually preferred but hadn't seen online yet

really helpful and good experience, just happened to be that the property I ended up putting an offer in was with a different agent, but would recommend to anyone else especially FTBs as was able to get a lot useful info on the viewings

Danielle Kelly was very professional and helpful with selling our house from start to finish. She was fantastic in dealing with the other vendors and our buyers. She dealt with any issues that arose efficiently and kept us up to date on all necessary matters. We could always contact her when we needed to, which was very reassuring. I would definitely recommend using Danielle to help sell your house.

5 Stars - Amazing Service!

5 Stars! Such an Easy Process!

Matt and the whole team at ROK Marsh including Lilly an Aleah were amazing. From initial viewing to managing the offer process, they offered clear and quick communication throughout. After our offer was accepted, they did not stop keeping us up to date throughout the survey process, exchange and finally completion. They even got us a lovely bottle on completion day to say congratulations!

Thoughtful, quick, compentent and efficient is how I would describe the whole team at ROK Marsh.

A great experience with Lilly and ROK

I have met Lilly twice for a viewing and second viewing. She is so friendly, helpful and professional. If she doesn't know the answer, she goes and finds out and comes back quickly. Lilly is also relaxed and not pushy when looking around the property, which makes the process much less stressful. Thanks Lilly.
