Geezus.... just used my hose for the first time, what a disappointment... and to be honest, if I'd read any of the reviews on here, I wouldn't have bought it. I live in a townhouse complex, and I have concrete paths around the perimeter, this bloody hose snags on the concrete so much so that it can't be dragged around my garden . I have to go back, gather it up and move forward again. And because it snags so badly, it can't retract as it should. Big waste of time and I'm guessing I won't be getting a response to my email regarding these matters. Rubbish bin it is and then off to Bunnings to get a real hose. DO NOT BUY THIS HOSE.

Bought two of the hoses. I would’ve thought using an Australian based company that the hose fittings that came with the hose would fit an Australian tap. The connections that come are marked as either US or European. When I messaged them about this I received a reply stating that you could buy a connector from your hardware store. Why sell hoses with connections that won’t work without having to buy extra things. I’ve now googled and US and European tap fittings are not compatible with our taps. I haven’t even tried the hoses yet but already wish I hadn’t made the purchase. Very disappointing.

Do not purchase the 30m unbreakable hose. It split after 6 months and they only regurgitated their fantastic 14 day guarantee. Seriously, I should have read the fine print and the reviews. Do not buy anything from this store.

Do not purchase this Hose they are waste of money. 14 days warranty is all you get.
I got 4 months use which for a garden hose is unreasonable.

I purchased two 30 meter unbreakable hoses from Better Gardens.
The hoses lasted 4 months and split they were not used everyday and were under cover.
Inside the cloth coil is flimsy plastic which does dose not live up to the marketing on Better gardens site as being unbreakable.

one of the hoses had a split and they refuse to replace or refund the value. It was outside their 14day returns policy and I had not used the hose previously. They will not honour The Australian Consumer Law. I have sent to the Office of fair trading and will see how I go. I would like to warn others.

I purchased two expandable hoses on 12th January ‘26. Hoses arrived. I was charged $109.98. The price on the site was $30 each !!
Two weeks in and one hose has sprung a leak in two places, rendering it useless. These hoses are of very poor quality and I feel totally ripped off and deceived with both cost and quality. Waste of money.

guarantee of hoses is only for 14 days post arrival
fittings to hoses do not appear to be either brass or copper.
fittings are very light weight, perhaps a light alloy or plastic painted yellow gold in colour.
works as stated at the moment as per the advertised product.

SCAM…ordered $300 power tool for Christmas gift and 2 weeks later nothing received. No contact number only an email address and surprise, surprise, no response. Now payment dispute through PayPal.

⚠️ Warning: This product only comes with a 14-day warranty - that should be your first red flag. My hose started leaking after just three months, and it’s only been used on weekends to wash the car. Clearly a cheap, low-quality import. I contacted Better Gardens and they refused to refund or replace it, claiming it’s “out of warranty”. Very disappointing - not a trustworthy product or seller.

The instructions are not explained, it does not give you information on when to turn or not what you are assembling, they only give you numbers and letters, we are missing some washers, there are holes that do not match, although the aluminum material is fine.

I never realised that the worn rubber leg end-caps could be so easily replaced. I ordered them and they came promptly and were easy to fit.

No problems ordering the furniture I wanted. Delivery was spot on. Table was straightforward to assemble and everything needed was in a pack including tools! Very pleased with my purchase

02/05/23 Ordered Royal Kensington Sunlounger. 01/06/23 phone call and email from Royal Garden advising item water damaged so unable to fulfil order. Promised refund would be processed straight away but by team in Germany so would take a few days to show on my account.
19/06/23 refund still awaited.
07/07/23 refund received following escalation through PayPal

Ordered 2 Savoy garden chairs to add to existing ones bought 17 years ago (surprised to find they were still available after all that time).
Online system was quick and easy. Delivery could be improved by being informed whether morning or afternoon delivery.
Unfortunately, both chairs were damaged. Contacted Royal Garden who promptly organised replacements. When these arrived I saw that they too were damaged in exactly the same way as the first pair, so I refused to accept them and returned all four chairs via the carrier.
I asked Royal Garden for a full refund. There was no problem with this and money was back in my account the same day.
Royal Garden need to improve their Quality Control, especially when replacement stock is sent out.
