MapMonster is a desktop application for Rust players. We build companion software that uses Facepunch's official Rust+ API to bring everything the mobile Rust+ app shows — your team's positions, death markers, and map events like cargo ship, patrol helicopter and locked crates — onto your PC as a transparent always-on-top minimap overlay. The free version is fully functional with no signup quotas or time limits. Our paid Premium tier ($9.99/month, cancel anytime) adds an automatic vending-machine scanner with Shop Sniper — a curated detection module that watches every vending machine on the server in real time and alerts you the moment somebody lists a giveaway, like an AK for 5 scrap or a rocket for 1 wood. Premium-only alerts mean no other player on the server sees them — you get a clean shot at the loot. Critically, MapMonster is 100% safe for EAC and VAC. We use the same read-only Rust+ Companion API that Facepunch's own mobile app uses. No DLL injection, no memory reads, no packet interception, no contact with the game client. Dozens of community tools have safely operated through this API for years. We are a small independent team of daily Rust players, building since 2026.
