Safari Consultants provided an outstanding service from the time we first discussed what we were interested in doing. They set a trip which met our needs exactly. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to do a safari in Africa.

Our safari through Sabi Sands in South Africa, Vic Falls, Botswana, and Cape Town was truly the trip of a lifetime for our family! Every detail was expertly planned by Rob and his team, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy each incredible destination. We saw an amazing variety of wildlife - including leopards, wild dogs and a cheetah mom with her 5 cubs - and all of our guides were exceptionally knowledgeable and dedicated to making every game drive unforgettable.

From start to finish, everything was seamless, from accommodations and transportation to the thoughtfully planned itinerary. Rob really spent the time to listen to what our family of four (including 2 teenagers) was hoping to see and do during our time in Africa.

This was an unforgettable adventure filled with breathtaking scenery, incredible wildlife, wonderful hospitality and amazing food! We would wholeheartedly recommend Rob and Safari Consultants to anyone planning a safari in southern Africa. It was an extraordinary experience that we will treasure forever.

We booked our honeymoon through Safari Consultants and had the most sensational time. Every place we visited was extraordinary, and all the small logistical points throughout the trip ran like clockwork. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Kelly at Safari Consultants was fantastic from our very first call through to sorting out the last minute bits and bobs we asked of her while on the trip itself. She gave clear guidance and advice while also listening carefully to what we wanted. This really made it feel like we could input and shape the important holiday while being supported by a clear expert. She was always friendly and responsive, and so familiar with all the properties that we were discussing that it felt like we could make informed decisions at every turn.

As soon as I had my initial conversation with Rob I knew we were in good hands. We’d done about 8 safaris in South Africa as we used to live there but wanted to experience a different part of this amazing continent & didn’t know where to start! After talking things through with Rob who is clearly extremely knowledgeable I decided on Kenya. We could only fit in a 8 day trip & had a rough budget in mind - Rob came up with a great itinerary that suited our timescale & budget. He & the team were communicative & responsive - and gave me all the advice we needed for the trip via a client portal. Then prior to the trip our itinerary & all tickets/travel information was downloaded onto a brilliant app called Vamoos. The trip was incredible. Totally exceeded our expectations. Everything worked seamlessly - from the moment we were met at Nairobi airport. The transfers, internal flights worked brilliantly & all the accommodation (1 hotel & 2 safari camps) was superb. Rob really understood the sort of experience we wanted - and got the balance right between comfort, authenticity & excellent safari guiding. We had the best game sightings I’ve had in many years of going on safari & made memories that will stay with me for a very long time. I will definitely return to Kenya & the Massai Mara in particular but am also planning a trip to Tanzania & maybe Botswana. I will be using Safari Consultants for all these adventures. Planning a Safari can be daunting so I highly recommend handing it all over to Safari Consultants!

The holiday itself was absolutely superb. It ran like clockwork, and we celebrated my sister's birthday in a way we will always remember. We were treated like kings! Safari Consultants, specifically Mary, were able to build us the exact package we wanted for a 40th Anniversary break in Kenya.
Safari Consultants dealt with all aspects of our holiday, including excellent guided transfers for all steps of our travel within Kenya.
First 3 nights with the very wonderful Andrew and Sonia at Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages in Likipia. They are are able to deal with all types of dietary restrictions and you feel very comfortable and safe under their care. The game drives, with your own guide, in our case Hezzy, are exciting, informative and really give you a feel for the area.
We then flew to Kicheche Mara North camp managed by the incomparable Andrew and Mikena which is a very high spec tented camp all dietary restrictions were catered for and again we felt safe and comfortable.
The game drives were amazing, we saw some incredible sights. Many thanks to our guide Brian.
We cannot state just how wonderful this all was.
To top it all there were issues with the main airline coming home. Mary dealt with all of this cheerfully and efficiently giving us every confidence during a stressful time.
Our deepest thanks for arranging something so memorable with so many Firsts for us.

If it is your first or you are a serial safari goer Safari Consultants are an excellent font of knowledge and help.

In my case their stripes were earnt when my trip was extended due to the breakout of war in The Middle East. Stranded in Kenya for another week Mary ( my consultant) assisted me in getting back out on safari and making the most of an extended stay.

All in all everything ran like clockwork and we will certainly use them again.

We have travelled with Safari Consultants several times and recently enjoyed another wonderful trip this time combining South Africa, Kenya and Zanzibar. Our trip was complex and varied, but we were met every step of the way by their excellent colleagues on the ground and all logistics were seamless. Unfortunately, due to medical reasons, we had to cut our safari short for immediate treatment in Nairobi. This was naturally a stressful situation, however, Michele and her team acted quickly and could not have done enough for us, from rearranging flights and hotel accommodation, to assisting us with transfers to hospital appointments. Their care and attention to detail is remarkable, not only when planning your holiday but also throughout your journey, should you ever need it. Its worth mentioning that we have travelled to Africa for over 25 years and previously used the services of a number of specialist safari travel operators before finding Safari Consultants who have now become our go to travel organisation for Africa
