If I could I would give zero stars....

Based on my experience so far, I would not recommend Safe Ship to anyone. In fact, I would strongly encourage anyone considering them to look elsewhere. The entire process has been frustrating from the beginning, and it feels like the company is far more interested in collecting your money than providing clear, honest service.
They claim to be "Veteran Owned and Operated — Verified Trusted Movers" , but I have spoken with nothing but young adults who do not help with anything and appear to be trained to deflect and ignore your actual questions. The company doesn't actually move anything they just assist in find a mover at an excessive price. 
What initially seemed like a straightforward moving process quickly became stressful after we booked. No one we spoke with could clearly explain the various fees or provide consistent answers about what we were actually paying for. Every conversation seemed to result in different information, making it difficult to know what to expect.
Communication became noticeably worse after we paid the deposit. Getting clear answers was a challenge, and the pricing, scheduling, and overall moving process were never explained as transparently as they should have been. We were often left feeling confused and frustrated.
If you're considering Safe Ship, understand that they are a broker, not the company that actually moves your belongings. Be sure to get every promise in writing, read the contract carefully, and be prepared for the possibility that the final cost and timeline may be very different from what you were initially told.
Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with uncertainty, inconsistent communication, and unexpected costs. Based on our experience, I would never use Safe Ship again and would encourage others to find a more transparent and trustworthy company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. 

Very upbeat and friendly crew. Went to work immediately without hesitation to the needed tasks. Very impressive wrapping and handling of furniture and boxes.

We just used Safeship movers today for a long distance move. The crew was prompt with arrival and very professional during the process. Nesto was a great foreman and had everything on the truck in a timely manner. Totally recommend using them !

The packing crew seemed to do a great job, but never walked me through the house to verify all was loaded on the truck. Instead, they spent the last minutes seeing if my load required more payment. They left my home leaving behind 4 items, one of which was a 75 lb rug and pad. I still do not have this item, which was picked up 4 days later. Unpackers were two non-English speaking men, who took 6 1/2 hrs to unload. They could not read box labels, and had to be guided with each item. I had damage to every piece of furniture, and have huge amount of smashed pottery, crystal, and other pieces, but what is most upsetting is the loss of a box containing personal items with most of my jewelry, plus, my 3' step ladder. I am still unpacking, as boxes left in all the wrong rooms, and thrown on the garage floor. Worst moving experience I have ever had. Lots and lots of damages, and lost effects. Very concerned with the insurance options, and with getting my rug still. I do not recommend this company, and know that there is theft and changing of trucks once they leave your home.

Very friendly!! Smooth process!

The worst experience ever, not even one star! Avoid these people at any cost. it's a scam they are brokers that do nothing. You usually get a fast talking sales man to start with that won't give you time to consider the offer, which by the way has absolutely nothing to do with a proper quote, because that fee does not go towards the move.

You then get the 'nice policeman' that is supposed to do a virtual walk through but doesn't, and then he negotiates on every bit of furniture. Finally you have some random company call you, the estimate is totally way off, so you pay way above what was quoted minus safeship's fee. Terrible service, complete rip off, sham of a company. Go directly to the professionals, we used FlatRate Moving for the stuff we couldn't include the first time what a difference and about $17,000 cheaper!

Pack and Go Team is a team of tru professionals and they know how to handle their tasks. I will definitively use them again.

PLEASE, PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CONTRACTING WITH SAFE SHIP MOVING! FIRST, THIS IS NOT A MOVING COMPANY, THEY CONTRACT WITH OTHERS TO MOVE YOUR BELONGINGS. A SECOND COMPANY WILL COME TO PACK YOUR BELONGING (POORLY) AND DEPOSIT THEM INTO A STORAGE FACILITY. THEN, WHEN ENOUGH THINGS ARE READY TO SHIP, A THIRD COMPANY WILL LOAD THEM ON A TRUCK TO MOVE TO THE DESTINATION. WHEN YOU DISCOVER THE (MANY) BROKEN ITEMS, YOU HAVE 90 DAYS TO REPORT TO A FOURTH COMPANY, WHO MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THEY ARE NOT AN INSURANCE COMPANY. THEN, SUPPOSEDLY THE LOSS IS REPORTED TO AN UNKNOWN FIFTH ENTITY INSURANCE COMPANY. NONE OF THESE COMPANIES TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, AND SIX MONTHS LATER I HAVE NEVER HEARD FROM ANY OF THEM. BUYER BEWARE!!!

We moved effortlessly from Allentown, PA to Raleigh, NC job # 26126535 without any complications!! Mike & Max you both were wonderful in explaining all areas and getting our belongings shipped!! Thanks so much!!!

Marco and his team were excellent! The pickup was efficient and well coordinated. They were a little late but DC traffic is typically a burden.

Cam and Demetrius were incredibly organized and thorough. All our furniture was covered and taped before the moving process. They communicated with us throughout the move, informing us what they were doing. They were friendly, nice to work with, and really enjoyed working with them! They were great!
