We paid Salvex USD 29,430 in May 2025 for a transaction that did not proceed. Despite repeated follow-ups and a formal legal demand, our funds have been held as “credit” for over A YEAR with no refund.

Communication has been poor, and no clear resolution has been provided. We later discovered similar complaints from other customers facing the same issue.

Based on our experience, we strongly advise caution when dealing with Salvex, especially regarding upfront payments.

A client in Texas recently needed assistance selling steel pipes to free up space at their facility. As a Salvex contractor, I was able to connect them with interested buyers, ensuring the entire process was smooth and efficient. Salvex’s platform is an excellent solution for companies looking to market surplus inventory globally.

I already posted a review before about my 30K payment where the deal didn’t go through, and the company kept the money as credit while ignoring me when I ask for a refund. I’m posting again because a new development made me seriously worried.
I contacted the staff member who originally handled my deal, and this is what he wrote to me:

“I have NOTHING to do with Salvex as they owe me a lot of money for commissions not paid. fyi. I am sorry this has happened, I am not sure about Salvex at this time.”

And he also wrote:

“I really appreciate it and am very hurt that this has happened to several nice, good customers of mine at Salvex, that is why I had to leave, everyone thought it was me keeping there money but the fact was I was not getting paid either.”

After receiving this message from someone who used to work there and dealt with me directly, I’m now very worried about my 30K credit and whether this situation will ever be resolved properly. I have tried several times to use the credit, but nothing has been completed so far, and the lack of clear communication makes it worse.

This company will setup a deal with you, then when you pay they will respond with many delays and when you request refund they won't give you one.

Scam- stole us 14000usd and stopped responding.

Bought something from Salvex last year. They didn't send me any contact or address where to pick up the stuff. They told me to refund the money many times but never did, always the same lies.
I hired a lawyer now and he told me that this seems to be a common way to do business for salvex as he had many clients with the same issue getting the money back. Only promises and nothing happens until you go to court.
So be careful guys, will never do business with Salvex again for sure.

I’m writing this to publicly warn everyone: Salvex is a scam.

Over a year ago, I deposited $30,000 USD into my Salvex account. They’ve been holding my money as a credit balance ever since and refusing to return it to my bank account despite repeated requests. Every time I ask for a refund, they ignore me, delay the response, or simply go silent. They are refusing to return my own money.

To try to recover at least some value from this situation, I recently placed a $30,000 bid on a product listed by a seller I personally know and trust. The seller contacted me directly and said my offer was “too low” and asked if I could bid higher — which made no sense to me.

Later, the same seller showed me screenshot proof that Salvex only presented him with an offer of $10,000, not the $30,000 I actually bid. In other words:

I placed a $30,000 bid (I have full screenshots).

Salvex only showed the seller a $10,000 offer.

This isn’t just poor service — this is fraud.
They are withholding customers’ money, lying about bids, and manipulating offers between buyers and sellers for reasons I can only assume are dishonest or illegal.

After more than a year, $30,000 of my funds are still stuck, and Salvex continues to avoid any accountability. I also know several other people who have had similar experiences with them, and I believe this is a pattern.

I strongly advise everyone: stay far away from Salvex. This company is not trustworthy. I am now in the process of taking legal action, and I will not stay silent until this issue is resolved.

These people are a joke. First, they act like all these options to sell when in fact all they are doing is trying to make the largest spread from seller and buyer for their agents/company. I've been told something sold for 3 months. We pulled it and had ready and always some promise check is next week. No buyer is waiting 3 months!! Just waste of time and lies. Ha, funny reply.....can't figure out which of your sellers you misled? I dealt with you guys for 3 months and the lies. Just cause I wrote a review you can't get taken down.

25k$ lost with them => completing a lawsuit currently but very low chance…
I paid in sept 2024 and still no item, nor the refund
They told me that their bank in the US are not permitting to do the final wire to the seller of the UPS I have bought from.
Their process is to tell « you can check your balance, here are your 25k USD » …
But NO REFUND.
Please take care.

They are scammers , please avoid business with them ,
we paid them for purchases and discovered later these purchases not really existing , it passed nine months and they did not refund yet .

No unsubscribe, and they keep spamming me with new email addresses. I signed up about two years ago, and they recently started spamming me. I've blocked about ten, and the emails keep coming from new addresses. Update: After receiving this review, Salvex did remove me from their system

they will scam you specially if you are not in the usa .
if they scam you , search for a laywer in texas and any lawyer will get you your money without having to put any cash up front because what they do is straight up scam and any judge will see through it and you will win the case
