No shop!
Online China rubbish no linen to be found cheap polyester nothing like description or photos.
Offered 30% refund or return to China and no guarantee they receive..still waiting for refund

No stars would be more appropriate. Dreadful returns policy, ensuring the customer loses out whatever they try to do. DO NOT BUY from this fraudulent company.

Please thoroughly research this company they are blatently scammers they are not trustworthy ethical tradershy traders they buy substandard cheap polyester and cheap sub standard material nothing like as ad ertjsed from there privately run family run business showing allegedly three generations of this family run business total lies rubbish & Toshiba

My experience is the same as everyone else. This is a scam to get money out of you. Although the goods are described as being made of cotton they are predominantly polyester. Cheap and badly made. When I enquired about a return they have to be returned to China where their warehouse is based. At first I was offered 10% as a refund and keep them. Then I was offered 15%. Please DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Their marketing is second to none but everything is a lie.

Dungarees were nothing like advertised. Picture and description showed embroidered cotton dungas—what arrived was printed polyester, full of static and very badly made, shipped from China. Not a British company as led to believe. Total scam!

In agreement with all other reviews. Utterly diabolical garments, no labels, just like baggy thin tents and no indication beforehand that returns were to China. No means of contacting anyone to complain so we should get Watchdog involved. Can’t believe I was taken in by this utterly fraudulent company.

BEWARE !!! Don’t buy anything from this company. Total scam. Goods are absolute crap. Not based in the UK. Manufactured and shipped from CHINA. As others have said if you want a refund you won’t get one. You have to ship the goods back to China at your own cost, including all the customs duties and everything else involved. Material of the goods polyester not cotton. Very inferior quality. I guess I have wasted my money !! I would give ZERO stars if I could. Be warned !!!!!!!!!

If it were possible I would award no stars. This company is fraudulent, selling inferior substandard clothes that are not as advertised. They are not a family UK based business as advertised and It is not possible to get a refund and I would strongly urge that no one buys anything.

I got taken in!! What an absolute disappointment when my item arrived. Absolutely NOT anything like what the site portrayed. Can’t even use the dungarees as a duster …… too much static in the thin, limp material.

If there was an option for no stars I would have selected it. I purchased a pair of dungarees from their Facebook advert, what eventually arrived was rubbish, the fabric was so flimsy and certainly not as described, the shape was completely different to that advertised, a clown would have turned their nose up! I contacted Sarah Emily and asked to return them and was told I had to send them back to their supplier in China (postage was over £25) I told them I was not happy and was instead, offered 15% refund and later 20% and to keep the product (as if i wanted to). So, I contacted my bank who investigated my purchase with Sarah Emily, they put in place a reverse transaction and my money was just confirmed as refunded in full. I give this information just in case anyone else wants to use this route.

A dreadful firm. Despite their impliance they are a 'Mom and Pop' UK based firm they are anything but. They used a selling ethos called 'dropshipping' which means they carry no stock at all, when an order comes in they simply buy the product from a Chinese factory and then have it sent direct to the consumer. It will come wrapped in parcel tape and there will be no fancy bag as portrayed in the advert. The product will be, as we found, on a pair of dungarees ordered for my wife, of the poorest quality possible. If you want a refund that's fine but you have to send it all the way back to China at your expense which in my case was about £40 (for a product that cost me £35) you also have to get proof of delivery and pay import duty and VAT back in to China. So it works out that it's not worth it for the consumer to send it back. They know this of course and offer a 15% discount and let you keep the product which is good only for the bin. Because the product is so cheaply made they can still make a healthy profit. I would go as far to say that this is their set intention. They know fully that the product will be rejected and that they can still make a profit. It is best to avoid this company altogether along with similar companies such as Abbey London. There are many now sadly trying to rip people off on Facebook. Do not believe the reviews THEY publish as they are fake.I know that in future I'll always check Trustpilot first and would recommend you do the same before committing to a purchase or better still just avoid them totally.

Clothing not as described in the advert. Poor quality fabric. Sent from China and expected returns to be posted there, costing almost as much as the clothing. Credit card gave me back my money after I returned the goods to the Feltham address they'd been sent from.

Should be no stars. I should have checked the reviews but you learn. This company is a scam. There is no UK presence so don't be taken in by the cute family photo. Any returns have to go to China and this view persists with "Sarah Brooks" despite being the supplier as per the law. The goods are shoddy to be kind and I suspect that the Goodwill refund offered is the true cost of the goods. There is no refund and the goods are rubbish. Don't buy from them.

I saw attractive dungarees on Facebook and went to the website. I ordered a pair of dungarees and a dress which was described as flattering and claimed to hide the tummy. I ordered a medium(I’m usually 12/14). The dress was anything but flattering. The crossovers which should have been under my boobs crossed on my chest!
The dungarees were comfortable enough to wear but are made of very thin, light synthetic material. They are very generous cut. The stitching has come undone after one wear.
I emailed the customer service and have been told that I can return them but at my own expense- to China! They are not a family firm following in grandma Margaret’s footsteps as they claim.
Avoid them like the plague. I think by are also trading under other names on Facebook such as Elizabeth & Olivia.

Everything about this company is a fraud - it's website, it's facebook page and all the clothes it's advertising.

It is NOT based in UK. The dungarees I ordered cam from China and returning good there is not straightforward - see below.

The material quality is appalling - cheap, thin, slippy - impossible to roll u the legs as shown in the advertisement. And the material looks as though it has been digitally printed - fuzzy images that look as though they have been enlarged too far.

Seriously if you doubt what a scam it is ordering from China from a company like this, read on.

Knowing I would be responsible for shipping costs I emailed them asking for a refund. They recommended using a track and trace service, which would be in the region of £30 or even more!.
They also said returns 'may be subject to customs checks or additional charges' for which I would also be responsible. A quick Google search indicated packages valued over 500 yuan, which mine is can incur customs duty of up to 25%, plus VAT of 13%.
Exemptions can be applied for, but that's a whole lot more hassle with no guarantee of success.
So it could cost around £48, plus a whole lot of hassle, to return items costing £60:
Shipping - say a conservative = £25
Customs duty 25% of 60 = £15
Chinese VAT @13% = £7.8
Total = £47.8

Sarah Emily Wear offered me an alternative - I could keep the items and they would give me a goodwill refund of 15%. In other words I'd get less than £10 on over £60 of goods. Obviously I'm going to accept this 'offer' but I don't expect I'll ever see that £10.

Do yourself a favour and steer clear of these fraudsters.

NEVER, NEVER use this site. A complete scam. Like others here I was taken in by the UK based info which is totally misleading. The goods were dreadful fabric and poorly made. Took forever to arrive and when I returned them to the address on the packaging (a Feltham address with proof of delivery) they are now surprise, surprise, no longer traceable and so now out of 30 day returns window - tough, no goods, no refund. Despicable treatment. So again Do Not Buy Anything From Sarah Emily.

The first time I have bought from an online company without checking Trustpilot. This company is based in China and despite the impression that it is a family company based in the UK you have to return the product to China at your own cost. The dungarees are made from horrible cheap fabric I would never wear. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

As others have reported this website is a big fat scam! I stupidly didn't check out trustpilot like I usually do as the website seemed a genuine family concern. Dungarees obviously from China, 95% polyester not soft cotton blend as described. Same issues as others when trying to return, send back to China! Misleading information on the website regarding returns. I have raised a dispute with credit card provider, fingers crossed I get at least some money back.
