Saturation is, by far, the most impactful piece of software we’ve integrated into our film production company. What started as a tool to streamline bidding quickly evolved into a total solution for our business & accounting of jobs.

Bidding & Presentation: We can create multiple bid versions and deliver them via custom PDF presentations, we started with AICP looking bids and have evolved to a blended presentation that feels way more current.

Cashless Production: This is the biggest win. By assigning department heads virtual and physical credit cards, we track spending against specific budgets in real-time. Crew members upload receipts directly to the job, allowing our PMs and LPs to monitor finances as they happen.

Integrated Payments: Vendors and crew submit invoices directly through the platform. Everything maps back to the budget automatically.

It’s hard to overstate the impact Saturation has had on our efficiency. Every dollar is tracked in real-time without the usual "heavy lifting" of manual wrap-ups. Whether you are a small creative boutique or a large production house, I highly recommend Saturation if you want to get organized and look professional.

I've been using the platform for the past couple months and am obsessed with it. I've been telling all my fellow producers and will continue to. Saturation is revolutionizing this business and bringing it into the modern era.

We've been running a commercial production company for the last 17 years and spent most of that time juggling budgets in a tool, expenses in several other tools (including bank transactions), and chasing down receipts at each stage of production (pre, production, post, and wrap). Saturation replaced all of these for us. The thing we love most is having budget and actuals (transactions) in the same place. So now when we have crew spend on a P-card, it hits actuals automatically. We use their AI receipt scanner to read receipts, invoices where it fills in the details, so it's about reviewing instead of doing a bunch of manual data entry. Bill Pay lets us send ACH payments to vendors directly from inside the platform, tied to the right budget line. There's also approval workflows, so we can require sign-off on payments above a certain threshold before anything goes out, which matters when you're managing multiple projects and different department heads. It syncs with QuickBooks, so our bookkeeper stays happy. We also have it connected to Plaid for any external cards. If we're being honest, we wish Saturation also handled payroll and callsheets natively, but they integrate well with tools like Wrapbook and Cinapse for those, so it's not a dealbreaker. The API is open, which means we've managed to be able to extend it in ways no other production software allows. There are occasional UI rough edges, but the team is genuinely responsive to feedback and actively improving the product, so it feels like a company that's actually listening. It's clearly been made by filmmakers, with production fully in mind. Every update makes it better, we're always excited to see what they ship next. We call it our production company's "financial operating system", in one tool. Could never go back to the old way of doing this!
