Always helpful, always efficient and time sensitive. As a first time buyer this process can be so overwhelming but with the support of Marie, Adam and Chelsea it was actually very smooth! Would recommend for any first time buyers in the Pontypridd area to really consider going with these!

We sold a property by auction and this firm were very efficient. Zooiyal was very helpful answering any queries promptly making the process easier to manage.

Unacceptable Negligence by SB Wales Lawyers
I must convey my profound disappointment and frustration with the substandard service provided by SB Wales Lawyers (Spicketts Battrick Law Practice). Repeated attempts to establish communication have been met with silence, demonstrating a complete disregard for their clients' needs. This unacceptable lack of professionalism has jeopardized a crucial property chain, causing severe stress and potential financial losses. Such incompetence is a dereliction of their duty as legal professionals. I strongly urge anyone seeking reliable legal representation to consider alternative firms that exhibit the necessary diligence, accountability, and client-focused approach.

Would recommend using this firm of solicitors for any conveyancing matters. Benjamin and Khrystyna were extremely helpful and responsive each time I had a query. House sale completed in around 8 weeks. Very happy with service

We had a first class service from Elsa and Sharon from start to finish. We have used them in the past on more straightforward purchases and always had exemplary service, but this purchase was far from straight forward. An auction property (with 28 days to complete), using a bridging loan to purchase and involving solicitors acting on behalf of our lenders who did not seem to understand the meaning of the word ‘urgency’ made this a stressful time (with the potential for high penalty fees for late completion). However, Elsa and her team needed no pushing or reminders to chase or complete paperwork - on a daily basis we were getting precise instructions as result of their constant persistence in chasing down any and all info/documents needed from all parties …..when we needed to submit anything, Elsa confirmed they were submitted within minutes of us providing…or when the lenders solicitors decided to take a holiday just days before our scheduled completion, she harried and chased everyone in her way to ensure we did not lose any time - it’s not overstating the fact that we would not have completed on time without her. We as a company highly recommend.

Incompetent doesn’t cover it. Avoid!!

The conveyancing work done by Rachel Hughes-Lewis was glacial, inaccurate, and tardy, with numerous errors (including my name on the contract!!), almost losing me the purchase.
I only spoke to members of staff twice or thrice, being at the mercy of their automated answering service or sending emails and chasing responses or risking delays in progress spanning over multiple weeks. Rachel failed to communicate being on leave around the projected time of completion, despite being notified when the seller and I hoped to do so, was unable to provide clear guidance for documentation around proof of funds and required repeated and very frustrating reiteration of questions she overlooked over more than a month - I’m not sure she was sure what was, in fact, required and could not provide clear guidance other than saying whether submissions I produced were sufficient or not. I believe that the only reason completion was finally prioritised was the threat of the seller terminating the sale and myself Involving the estate agency who recommended Spickett Battrick, claiming that this would make the process faster. LOL. Six months post sale, I’ve now received a penalty notice from HMRC for late Land Tax Registration and outstanding payment of the penalty - the registration was filed three months late and only half the penalty was paid, despite SB charging a tidy sum for registering stamp duty and land tax on my behalf.

I cannot emphasise enough how poor their service was and I would not be surprised should further issues arise from their incompetence and errors.

AVOID!! Save yourself the trouble of the endless headache of dealing with such a circus.

Great experience from Benjamin and Kristina ,both very efficient and excellent communication,carried out the sale of my mothers house swiftly and professionally and in a timely manner, keeping us informed all the way,would recommend this law firm for house conveyancing

Afraz and Benjamin were both incredibly helpful throughout our house purchase process. There were a number of difficulties that were outside of our & their control but they constantly kept us in the loop with what was happening and were always quick to respond to any enquiries we had.

In particular, when timescales became extremely tight towards the end due to our mortgage offer expiring, Afraz went above and beyond to ensure that we were able to complete on time.

We would not hesitate to use them again in future.

I had a amazing solicitor (Laura scrivens) who was so supportive and reliable - a person who always kept me informed and reassured, a person who supported me right through the whole process - a person who I felt went above and beyond for me -I would fully recommend Laura as a solicitor she’s a absolute wounderful women/solicitor.

Benjamin and Khrystyna were excellent in my house sales process - they were very responsive both to me personally and others involved in the sales process (buyers solicitor and estate agents).

So my previous review was deleted, saying: ...was flagged for containing defamatory content...
Honestly, what a joke. We are not allowed to tell the truth as they feel assaulted??? What about us, who emotionally, psychologically and financially was affected???
I ll leave another review and will come back each time they will delete it.

Sarah Tyrell lost our purchase. She does not know how to do her job. She wasted time, wasted money and has left us financially stricken. Instead of going to details (wasting time as they will not like the truth and will delete) just read the other negative reviews of HER!
Just avoid Sarah Tyrell, simple like that :(
