Adam was exceptional the entire time. Not only holding my hand the entire time and dealing with the numerous calls, far above what I expected, but he also stayed late to make sure everything was dealt with. Me and my wife had Afraz George Inayat, who is on Benjamin Eaton’s team as our solicitor for selling our property, and also our purchase.

Afraz made the process considerably less stressful, he was very consistent with communication and responded very quickly to any queries, which were never a bother for him.

We had a seller pull out weeks before completion, which was very stressful as my wife is heavily pregnant. Afraz helped with paperwork over the phone and in person.

He is truly a credit to Spicketts and I felt very comfortable with him managing the affairs and I would always return based on this service. If you have him as a solicitor you really couldn’t ask for a more committed person for the job.

I cannot recommend the team from the Pontypridd branch enough- Samantha Manuel oversaw the main work for me with conveyancing, through buying a property on my own. This is one of the most stressful things I have done to date, but Samantha made me feel at ease through it all. She was extremely efficient when replying to my emails and telephone calls, which helped calm my stress levels massively! Sam was always very professional and nothing was ever a problem. She had the patience of a saint with me! If she was ever on annual leave, her colleagues Samantha Lewis and Leanne Davies would pick my emails up, and would reply instantly- and I wouldn’t have to explain anything- they knew of my case and knew exactly what was going on! Excellent communication, excellent team. Will forever be thankful for everything they have done for me in helping me buy my first home on my own! Thankyou ladies!

Elsa from the Albany Road conveyancing team handled our recent FTB purchase. All of the legal work was carried out with great efficiency and attention to detail.

Sharon was also responsive and ensured everything was explained clearly. If you're a nervous first timer like me you might find the latter ends of the process waiting for news frustrating but the team were very clear with us on their time scales and what we could expect from them. I appreciated their direct communication; I only wish I'd trusted them more and not stressed myself out! Trust the process, they know what they're doing.

All of our searches and enquiries were complete within a fortnight and the handling of my account and final balances were scrupulous and detailed. The fees charged were competitive.

We had the pleasure of having our conveyancing work carried out by Benjamin Eaton. We first had an offer accepted on a property we thought was perfect - he highlighted things we hadn’t thought about that were wrong with the property that in the end meant we pulled out due to fundamental issues. Throughout that process, Benjamin was patient, friendly and understanding, even though it meant we didn’t pay as we didn’t complete. So back to the search we went! We quickly found another property that we fell in love with and again had our offer accepted! No chain as was a part ex. From offer accepted to completion, it was 7 weeks and 1 day - I’m now sat at our dining table in our first home on the day of completion writing this review! Absolutely couldn’t have asked for more from Benjamin, quick to respond, explained everything we needed to know and, as with the first property, patient, kind and understanding. We are so thankful and it has been a pleasure to work with him, we trusted him wholeheartedly and it took so much of the stress out of buying this home meaning we could focus on enjoying the process and planning our future. Afraz also worked on this purchase towards the end when it came to the funds and again, all the same attributes. Such a great experience we’ve had. You hear some horror stories about conveyancing that sound like nightmares but this process has been a dream for us. THANK YOU!!!!!

I recently used this firm to buy and sell my home. Elsa was incredible! Along the way a few hiccups as you would expect and she sorted every little thing it made it a simple process and therefore not stressful!

I purchased my first home through this company and I have to say I would not recommend at all! Poor communication, added stress as the solicitor left and they did not reallocate quickly (4 weeks later), incorrect billing, what they estimated at the start was incorrect and final bill was over double +. Not supportive of first time buyers as they did not talk your through the process. Poor service and added stress which you don’t need. Ruined my experience of buying my first house!

The team at Spicketts Battrick Wales did a great job pushing through the legal process of our recent move to Cardiff, particularly Benjamin and Afraz. They were prompt in replying to emails, good at explaining procedures and issues, and efficient at all stages of the process.
