I worked closely with Scale Systems over the past few months, and I can honestly say the impact was visible within the first few weeks already. During that time, I basically restructured my entire business. One of the biggest wins was that I managed to reduce my costs by almost 90%, mainly by implementing AI and making my processes much more efficient.

I also reworked my offer, repositioned the business model, and got a lot more clarity on the overall direction of the company. This would not have been possible without the personal support and the availability of the Scale Systems team. I never felt like just another client — they really took the time to understand my situation and gave advice that actually fit my business.

What I appreciated the most was that the collaboration was not only very professional and strategic, but also very human and easy to work with. Communication was always straightforward, fast, and solution-oriented. Overall, it was a really great experience from start to finish, and I can definitely recommend working with Scale Systems to anyone who wants to optimize, restructure, or modernize their business. I’m already very curious to see where I’ll be by the end of the three-month program.

In the last 90 or so days our business has completely transformed! Our social media has grown over 22k new followers, and the systems Lauren and her team have helped us build are allowing us to manage this new lead flow, book more sales calls, close more sales and we haven’t had to hire a single person to help manage the growth while we continue to scale.

No matter what you're selling, social media is an ever-changing, everyday world of business, content, communication. If you're in the world where you produce revenue from social media, which most businesses do now or need to, organic social media not only is in place today but is here for the near future.

One of the things I found is Lauren has an absolute daily pulse on this at all times, and the opportunity to not only work with her every week to two but also her content creators. It's more than coaching; it's having a community and a group there to bounce ideas off, to know that we're not crazy to try stuff out, come back, and the group absolutely learns from each other every single solitary day and week. To have Lauren there as a leader in this industry is absolutely paramount to success.

As business owners, we all need coaches; we all have blind spots. I'm a coach for my industry, but then Lauren is one of my coaches. Quite frankly, she's one of those people. I don't think you would remove her from the equation, because just having her there, leading this group to bounce off ideas every week to two weeks is again vital to success.

I paid Scale Systems (associated with Lauren Tickner) for a business mentorship programme that was marketed as providing one-to-one coaching, structured support and guidance to grow a business.
In my experience, the service did not match what had been presented prior to payment. Several scheduled sessions were cancelled or did not take place, communication was inconsistent, and I did not receive the level of one-to-one support that I believed I had paid for.
Before paying, I was not provided with a signed contract or clear written refund policy. When I later requested a refund due to the service not being delivered as expected, my request was not resolved.
At one stage I was offered a partial refund on the condition that I sign a non-disclosure agreement, which I declined.
Because of this experience, I have raised the matter formally through my bank and other appropriate channels.
This review reflects my personal experience

I’m sharing this to protect others from going through what I did.
This experience has not only cost me AUD $18,000, but also affected my health.

In September 2024, I invested $18,000 (paid in full from my savings) into Scale Systems to help me grow my online coaching business. I’ve always been ‘in-person’ and decided to pivot to online.
As a single 60-year-old woman, this was a huge financial decision ~ one I did not take lightly.

The decision was based on verbal promises and marketing claims that included:
• A clearly stated ROI guarantee: “If you don’t make your ROI in 90 days, we’ll refund you”
• An estimated time commitment of 2–3 hours per week
• A “no-brainer” offer with nothing to lose

I have a recording of the 43 minute sales call, and written evidence of these statements.

However, after joining, the reality was very different.
• The workload was far beyond what was described (closer to 5–7 hours a day, and late nights.
• Communication was inconsistent, with long gaps in replies and frequent staff turnover.
• There was no clear system or consistency, and the promised level of support was short-lived.

The sales process involved taking payment before providing any written contract or terms, with additional conditions introduced only after payment was made.

Payment was taken on the call without any prior access to written terms, and once payment was made, additional conditions were introduced that materially altered what had been represented.

This sequence left me feeling misled, as key conditions were only revealed after payment had already been taken.

When I raised concerns and requested a refund (multiple times), I was told I hadn’t met unspecified requirements ~ despite the lack of clear expectations from the start.

I was absolutely determined to make it work. I worked non-stop at it.

I have since sought advice from Australian consumer protection bodies, all of which agree that I am entitled to a refund or chargeback.
I will be taking this further unless I hear back from the Founder.

I share this experience out of frustration & disappointment, and a sense of responsibility to warn others.
I trusted the Founder’s words and reputation. I believed her.

I’m a professional coach myself with over 30 years experience ~ so I’m aware of how coaching works.

I have continued to contact the company multiple times over many months via email and various platforms and have not received a reply.

This lack of response has a significant impact on my trust in the business.

When it comes to organic social media marketing, I always rely on Lauren! She has figured out how to make money through organic content and we have seen great success implementing Scale Systems processes into our business.

I recently joined Lauren Tickner’s Scale System to help me boost my social media content, grow my audience, and attract my ideal clients. Although I’ve just started, I’m already seeing a big shift in my confidence and approach, even as someone who isn’t naturally social media savvy and does not have a big audience (yet).

The program is full of value, but the real superstar is Mariana Bello. She has a solution for every single question and concern, and her insights are beyond incredible. In such a short time, I’ve been consistently impressed by her expertise, knowledge, and willingness to go above and beyond.

I was sold on Scale Systems based on the extensive promises made during a sales call, including high-level support, personalized strategies, and systems to help grow my business. When I requested that these promises be reflected in the contract, I was told they would not be included. As a result, I did not sign the contract, but the company still charged my card for $20,000.

When I attempted to work with the company to resolve these issues, I was ignored and eventually received little support. Eventually, I submitted a dispute with my credit card company. Contrary to Scale Systems' public statements, they did not issue a refund-my financial institution ruled in my favor and returned the funds based on a lack of delivery and misrepresentation.

What has been most disturbing is what happened after the dispute. The company’s founder used private information that I shared during the initial sales call-about my personal and financial situation-to contact someone in my professional network and attempt to discredit me. This was a clear breach of trust and confidentiality. Additionally, I received emails threatening legal action if I did not remove my honest, fact-based review.

This experience has been not only disappointing but deeply disheartening. I am not seeking financial gain through this review. My intent is to help others avoid the distress and breach of ethics I experienced.

My review reflects a firsthand, truthful account of my experience and complies with all platform guideline despite repeated attempts to silence me.

The growth we've seen as a result of executing the tactics and strategies that SaleSystems.io teaches is absolutely awesome.

The company's founder is not "just young and learning." She is an experienced business owner and the Ombudsman (AFCA) ruled her conduct misleading and deceptive under consumer law.



The Australian Financial Complaints Authority compelled my bank to issue me a full refund after finding the guarantee had not been honoured. In my case AFCA ruled it as a bait and switch.

In my experience, thousands were taken under a “100% guarantee” that was later refused. I personally felt this was dishonest.

Based on my research and conversations with others, I believe my experience is not an isolated one, and that similar situations have occurred over multiple years. I have personally spoken to four other people who have told me they have lost thousands to these misleading promises.

The play book is always the same.



👉 Make bold “no-risk” promises to close the sale.
👉 Take payment on the call before showing any contract.

👉 Then, after you’ve paid, introduce hidden conditions that make the refund impossible to claim.



💡 If you’re considering this program, simply search. I wish I had. There are other public reviews available online that describe similar experiences.

In my research I have come across video reviews, complaints, multiple-page threads sharing screenshots and negative experiences spanning over years.

What Was Promised



On the sales call, I was told this was a “no risk” investment:



- “If you don’t make your money back in 90 days, we’ll simply refund you the difference. There is zero risk.”



- The “system” would take just 2–3 hours per week to implement.



- Support would be personalised and structured.



Accompanied by written promises such as:


“You can’t fail. You won’t risk a penny. If this doesn’t work it means Zuckerberg and Musk must hate you.”

What Actually Happened



- A contract with refund “conditions” appeared after I had already paid, with vague requirements like “full participation” and midnight group calls.



- The workload ballooned into 2+ hours per day, with unrealistic demands of up to 170 cold DMs daily (never disclosed upfront).



- Team members and “trusted partners” left within weeks, and program platforms kept shifting - Whop, Skool, ClickUp, Google Docs (often with broken links).



- Support was generic templates and PDFs, not the customised help I was sold. My own offer (promised as DFY support) was never reviewed.



- When I raised concerns, the founder would simply announce a new “system” - each one requiring more effort, staff, or resources than originally promised.



- When I requested the refund as promised, it was refused on shifting technicalities.



Ironically, the founders own written responses became the very evidence AFCA used to rule in my favour. She contradicted herself multiple times - undermining her own defence.

Not an Isolated Case



👉 This is not just financial. I have personally seen the emotional toll this has taken on people in my community.



The claims that were made - and the time, energy, and money poured into trying to make this “system” work - left people devastated.



Those I’ve spoken to described stress on their mental health, strain on family life, and a deep sense of shame and betrayal after doing everything asked of them.

Outcome & Final Warning.



Some people excuse this by saying “[Name] is just young and learning.” I disagree.



The shifting excuses AFCA overturned show she was simply comfortable taking people's money and inventing reasons on why she got to keep it.



This experience made me realise why consumer protection bodies like AFCA exist.

To stop businesses from selling on big promises, then making people jump through hoops when they try to claim what was guaranteed.

Please protect yourself:



- Don’t be pressured into paying on a call.

- Don’t accept verbal promises without a signed contract.

- Don’t believe “no risk” guarantees unless they’re unconditional and in writing


- Do your own independent due dilligience.

Speaking up isn’t easy. But when we do, it helps others avoid the same trap - and reminds the industry that bold promises must be backed by real delivery.

As a consumer you have rights to receive chargebacks from your bank, there is structured help available. Reach out to flag her behaviour with the banks and with these documented breaches of ACCC and FTC law.

I made my first-ever investment in Scale Systems with a mix of hope and major fear. But within the first year, I made almost 20x my initial investment back. That alone would’ve been worth it, but what’s even more valuable are the skills, mindset shifts, and sales frameworks I now have at my fingertips.

To this day, I still use what I learned to close high-ticket sales and attract opportunities with companies I never thought were even possible for me. Being so closely supported by Lauren and her team completely shifted how I operate in business and life. If you’re on the fence, do it. You’ll walk away with certainty.
