We’re so pleased the scan was quick and that you were able to review and discuss the images straight away. Being able to see what’s happening in real time often makes the whole experience more reassuring and informative. You’re right that EOS technology is still relatively rare in the UK, so we’re glad your consultant guided you towards it. Patients can now also self-referrer for the full body scan through our website.

We're glad the EOS scan provided a more comfortable and efficient experience compared to your previous MRIs and X-rays. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we’re grateful you chose ScanAlign for your whole body EOS imagining!

Patients can now refer themselves for a whole body EOS scan without a doctor's referral/letter as well.

It is really encouraging to hear that the scan felt quick and easy and that our radiographer helped you feel at ease while talking everything through in detail. You described EOS very well, it sits somewhere between an X-ray and a CT in terms of the information it gives, but with a much lower radiation dose, and you are right that there are only a small number of these scanners in the UK. The fact that it picked up things your MRIs did not is exactly why many people find it so useful. As for “fixing all the things,” - and as all our patients experience - the report gives your clinicians a much clearer and targeted roadmap for what to do next.
