AVOID AT ALL COST
AVOID AT ALL COST - This outfit comprises of a bunch of Leeches.
They agree an amount with you, come collect your car. Take it away at least 60 miles away, then say your car is fault and give you less than half what they agreed.
You're either forced to accept the Crooks demands of the reduce amount, or travel miles to go get your car back.
This company should be struck off, human rats of the motor trade.

Very unprofessional and behaving like a fraud people.
My car was valued for £350, was transparent with the condition of my car. Car still drives with all legal documents. Car was driving unto the their truck. After 2 days with no payment received i phoned and I was offered 300 due to a problem that I wasn’t aware. I agreed because I just wanted to close the case.
Now a week later I phoned every day, I was told the money has been paid, and the manager will call me back and all stress. I have never experienced situations like this in my life. I continue to phone and they will answer the phone and say nothing. I am now becoming a nuisance for asking for my property.. I believe they recognise my 2 lines now they don’t pick my calls anymore..
I think all customers have the same experience.

Fraudulent activity. Do not trust them.
They agree a price for your vehicle over the phone. Arrange to pick the vehicle up. Get you to sign documents under time duress whilst loading your car onto their transporter. Ring you the next day to say they’ll give you £50.00 for the car. Or you can travel 100 miles to get it out of the pound. If you dispute it you will have to pay storage fees whilst you complain. I’m now onto trading standards.

Hi Lorraine,
We strongly reject your accusations and feel it's important to correct the misleading claims in your review.
You were quoted £300 based on the information you provided, which stated the vehicle was a non-runner. At no stage were we made aware of any further issues. Once the vehicle was collected and assessed by qualified mechanics at our breakers yard — not by drivers — it was found to be in far worse condition than described. This significantly affected the scrap value, which is why the offer was adjusted to £50.
Our process is fully transparent: if a vehicle does not match the condition stated, the quote is revised accordingly. We do not offer a return service — if the updated offer is declined, customers are welcome to arrange their own collection from our site, as outlined in our terms and conditions.
The payment was issued only after confirmation was received. To suggest otherwise is simply false. We operate with honesty, integrity, and in full compliance with all relevant industry regulations.
We are a trusted, professional company. We deal in facts, not false accusations, and we won’t allow our reputation to be damaged by dishonest reviews. If you have a genuine concern, contact us directly with your reference number.
Kind regards

I was offered £210 for my car. Was told it could be picked up with 2 hrs or less. Told them the problem with my car. Still offered the amount. Today after 3 days got a phone call. Either pick up the car or expect £50.
Apparently catcatalytic converters was gone the engine wasn't working. Which was not true.
Basically you have no choice but to expect their basic offer as receiving car back would of cost more!
Avoid at all cost. Funny how most customers recieve £50 back no matter the car or problem with car ! Avoid Avoid

We take these accusations seriously and will not allow false statements to go unchallenged.
You were quoted £210 based on the condition you described. However, once the vehicle was collected and properly assessed by our mechanics at the breakers yard, it became clear that key components were missing — including the catalytic converter — and the vehicle was not as described. This significantly affects the value and is why the final offer was revised.
Your claim that “the engine wasn’t working” was not something we fabricated — it was the result of a physical inspection. We do not make arbitrary decisions or issue “basic offers” to everyone. Our revised quotes are always based on the actual condition of the vehicle.
It’s also important to clarify: we do not offer a return service. If you choose not to accept the revised valuation, you're welcome to collect the vehicle yourself — this is clearly stated in our terms and conditions.
We operate honestly and in full compliance with industry regulations. Posting false or misleading claims does not reflect the facts and unfairly damages the reputation of a business that works hard to provide fair service.
If you’d like to discuss your case further, please contact us directly with your reference number.
Kind regards

100% Scammers
As previous reviews have said, (except for one that is quite obviously fake), they took my car full of smiles and promises, then I didn't get paid that day as they said they would.
I left it 2 days before contacting them and when I called the moment they know you're not a new customer the demeanour changes to 100% unhelpful. Guess what they claimed? Yes, an aftermarket catalytic converter and my promised price is now not honoured. In fact the price they offer is an insult.
However, they could offer nothing at all because you're completely at their mercy.
I feel like a complete mug because I didn't do my research, they are 100% scammers and they'll get you too if you go with them.
You have been warned.

Hi Bryan Anderson,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm very sorry to hear about your negative experience — this is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide.
Regarding the catalytic converter issue: we understand how frustrating pricing changes can be. However, the value of a vehicle can be affected by many factors, including non-original or aftermarket parts.
We also regret that your payment was delayed. That should not have happened, and I’d like to look into this personally to understand what went wrong and make it right.
Please contact us with your reference number or the vehicle details so we can investigate further. We value our customers and would appreciate the chance to address this properly.
Sincerely

Hi Mrs Cooper,
I'm very sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
We understand how disappointing it can be when the final offer differs from the initial quote. However, our valuations are based on specific criteria, and sometimes factors such as aftermarket parts — especially catalytic converters — can significantly affect the resale value. That said, this should always be communicated clearly and respectfully, and if it wasn’t in your case, we sincerely apologise.
We never aim to mislead anyone, and we take claims of dishonest practice seriously. Please get in touch with us directly with your booking or reference number so we can review your case in detail.
Sincerely
Scam - Do Not Use Them
Absolute scammers - please please please do not get ripped off like many others have done and go to a reputable scrap dealer.
Want proof?
They change domain name regularly but the stories remain the same. They will offer you above market price for your scrap car then when no money arrives you call them, then they claim that the car has an aftermarket catalytic converter and suddenly the price you receive drops to £50. Your car is gone, they've got you.
They have also been known by all these other names, look them up on Trustpilot...

Scrapnationwide.com Rip off Merchants, do not trust them
Scrapnationwide.com offered £250 scrap value for my car based on the information I provided. They collected the car as arranged, but didn't pay out. They claim the catalytic converter was not the original one that came with the car and based on this the car value was now only £50. I could not challenge or dispute this and if I was to decline the offer I would have to collect the car, with costs of £20 a day storage and £150 to get it delivered. Do not trust these scrappage schemes, they are a rip off

Hi James,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback — we’re genuinely sorry to hear you feel let down by your experience.
Our quotes are based on the information provided at the time of booking, and in cases where key components (like the catalytic converter) have been replaced with aftermarket versions, this can significantly affect the final valuation. However, we fully understand how frustrating this must have been and regret that you were unhappy with the outcome.
We absolutely do not aim to pressure or mislead any customer. If you feel this wasn’t handled fairly or clearly, we’d appreciate the chance to review your case. Please contact us directly with your booking reference so we can investigate and see how we might resolve this for you.
Sincerely,
