Would not recommend. 4 months and still nothing. Contractors never showed up. Had to constantly chase. Had to chase a re installation date only to be told that they needed to remeasure. Poor communica... もっと見る

Hands down the best investment! The room is completely dark, which has been a game-changer with daylight savings and the kids’ sleep schedules. They were so excited to see how dark it got at bedtime that they asked me to shut the door, and both of them fell asleep almost immediately! Couldn't be happier with the result - and the design is so lux and the customer service was outstanding -Would recommend!!

Absolutely horrible experience. I paid nearly $3000 for the blinds to be measured wrong. I asked for frame to be placed in bedroom and cover it all and they claimed "I agreed" with measurements. I now have a frame exposed in my bedroom that I did not agreed to and costumer service said "I will pass on to my superior, but he will tell you the same thing I am telling you now" basically getting nowhere. I could not get a contact for the superior. I am now stuck with a $1200 dollar bedroom frame that looks absolutely horrendous

We bought our blockout remote controlled blinds in July 2024 and it is now October and the blinds still do not operate correctly. Many phone calls later, another visit from the installer and problems still not solved.
Light shines through in each of the blinds and material will not stay in track. Thus we have buckled material and blinds that do not operate.
Poor customer service. Blinds costs over $4500.
Do not use this Company.
Now Friday 25th October and no option but to take Company to Court as they deny there is a problem with their blinds but with our building structure?

I wish I could give zero stars on the platform. Don’t buy these blinds they are useless. We bought a house where they were already installed and all of the doors and windows with them are falling apart. I thought it was just old or mishandled somehow by the previous owners, but now I suspect the workmanship and product is the issue as I have had multiple calls to get a quote to fix them but one month later and still no quote. Absolutely useless company! Don’t buy these blinds as they will fall apart- I’ve seen multiple Google reviews stating that it is a terrible product, and I agree!

DONT EVER GET BLINDS DONE WITH THESE PEOPLE. IF THEY DON'T LISTEN TO YOU NOW, HOW CAN YOU TRUST THEM TO SERVICE YOU AFTER INSTALLATION
I have never seen a company with such a poor customer service and no co-ordination between their team and they just want to get money without listening what to customer wants.
Day-1 A representative comes to my place explains the product. He confirms they cannot do for one of the window and can do for the Theater window. I agreed for measure and quote to understand if this can be done without coming out of the window frame.
Next apt: This was for Measure & quote. A guy walked in and through out the time he rephrased his statements 3 times. Initially he mentioned it cannot fit within the window frame, then he said, it will be minimal impact of 5mm, then he said we will angle the top motor to fit it in. When I was not OK with him changing his statement for 3 times, he said he cannot do it for us and walked out of the door. I called customer care, they requested me to allow him inside to take measure so that they can analyze and come back to me.
I gave them 2 days to review measures and come back to me, if not then I assume that the order has been cancelled (at this point I was never told that I need to send an email for cancellation and over the phone cancellation does not work). No one came back to me for 10 days and I get a phone call asking me about the date for installation. I replied back saying, I did not receive an email confirmation and I was under the assumption that the order has been cancelled as requested. Then someone calls me and mentions that he is the one who spoke with me on the day of measure & quote and it was his mistake not being able to reply back to me in writing that "they can do it without anything even a 0.01mm coming out of window frame and if they can't do it then screen away will bear all expenses for the damages caused to the property." He says he was busy and was not able to reply back. How can you trust a company who cannot do a proper measure & quote and who cannot reply back to your emails, who cannot take cancellation request over the phone and are forcing you to have something installed and pay $2500 for it. Again over the phone I said, I am not happy with you so go ahead and cancel it. They said its not possible as they ordered the material. I don't understand, I was clear that I am not happy with measure & quote so wont they come back check with me before ordering it??
I sent an email to them saying as the requests by me were never considered and ignored all along, please take my email as a formal request for cancellation. Even at this stage no one mentions that there is a formal request process and I should initiate it.
Again, no one actioned this email and after 3 weeks someone calls me saying your order is ready for installation. Again, I reached out saying I have requested on multiple occasion that I want to cancel this order. Even at this stage no one mentions that I have to submit a formal request for cancellation and no one replies back.
I request them to send all the recordings to me for reference and they never send them to me.
I receive an email again today saying we never receive a formal request and we are charging you for this.
I really need help to get them pay for all the trouble they have been causing to me.
Any help in resolving this is highly appreciated.
Hate their customer service and looks like they have no business and are trying to mint money from people by harassing them.

Their administration is hopeless. They never return voice-mails. They sound very friendly if you manage to get to speak to them, but they never follow through.
Sales people over promise, regarding installation dates and product performance. I was promised a 4 to 6 week installation timeframe, it was 14 weeks. With 2 missed appointments.
I was promised the Solar Panels would mean I would rarely have to charge the batteries. After 8 weeks, I have had to charge 5 of my 7 blinds. They do not mount the Solar Panels so they get direct sunlight. I had 4 installed facing inside to the roof --- useless! And the 2 that were facing outside, were tucked up so high that they were always in the shade. They need to invent some mounting brackets.

We have had these blinds replaced under warranty. Now the lines that pull them up have snapped. Apparently due a substandard material that was used. We have to pay for the replacement. Customer service is appalling. We have been waiting for these to be repaired for weeks. We are unable to open the blinds therefore we can not open the windows. I would not use Screenaway again and I def would not recommend them

Still waiting for blind to be changed . Don’t get motor for larger windows over 1 meter wide after 1 year the job is finished they stayed at my house until I gave them final payment. The sunshine coast manager also wrote a promise that any defective they would be under warranty. However I told him that the blind of smaller size had a crease in it and a new blind was coming . Still waiting for it and we gave them final payment on 1/3/2024

If I could 0 I would. The blinds did a great job until they didn’t work. And it’s been a nightmare ever since. Sold me a solar panel to charge the battery. Salesman’s didn’t consider if it would be in the sun to charge. I have had 6 people out. That’s when they show up. And still no resolution. They don’t care. They have their money. Apparently no one in the company takes complaints. Looks like it will be a small claims court battle. Really disappointed with the service as the product actually does what it’s meant to when it works.

Everything that everyone else said. The after service is terrible. The blinds break easily. My daughter's blind is totally stuffed. No one answers the phone, barely get an email response. They said someone is coming out with time frames, no one ever turns up. I have been following up for a year to get the house ready to sell. I will have to remove them as I can't get it repaired. Do not buy!

We have had our blinds for just under a year now. They have broken twice and the after service is terrible. I’ve called 5 times submitted a service request twice and nothing. My daughter has not been able to sleep in her room for 2 weeks because the blind won’t go down. $4,285.20 for 3 blinds and constant issue with no service afterwards. They use a pipe cleaner type string to fill the gap between the window frame and the screen frame and it is constantly coming out. If you don’t poke it back in the light shines through so what’s the point of “block out blinds”. Definitely don’t recommend.

First review from 2022 below the 2023 one.
FLASH FORWARD TO MID 2023, where i stupidly gave Screenaway another chance, as i wanted to tie all the blinds in with the same look. I had another two ordered. For which they sent two different people to do a check measure, the second making the final measure for the production. Waited two months for them to be finished and booked for install.
Installation day comes and the installers tell me they are the wrong measurements and cant be installed.
Office calls me and says theyll have to be remade.
I said they have a week or i want a refund... haven't heard back from them.
Honestly the worst customer service available. All bells and whistles trying to lock you in to order the blinds, then crickets when you actually need them.
To my section manager if you are reading this.. im still waiting for my message or call responding to my requests of an update.
To the managing director. What are you doing mate. Do yourself a favour and read the reviews, pull your Australia wide team into line and actually provide some proper service and deliver a product that is properly manufactured and fitted.
2022 : Would love to have reviewed the actual product however the company hasn’t delivered or installed them yet, and it’s coming on 10 weeks! They also won’t refund me. Which would have been nice so that I could move forward with another option. Instead I’m stuck waiting months on end for this dam blind. Apparently there are only TWO installers up Sunshine Coast way, so if one is down then it’s a no go on installs. Ridiculous way of operating a business.
Save yourselves the pain, and go with another company.

We have had our blockout blinds for 6 years and 1 of them have now developed a broken string on 1 side rendering it unserviceable. I am in South Australia and spoke with a customer service person about the issue, she put onto the internet to fill in their service form, which I did on Tuesday. It said they would get back to me within 3 day from the service department. Not heard anything yet, just made a phone call and you never know they could get back to me, it is obvious they only want to install new blinds. Come on ScreenAway at least show some interest in your products. No feedback for my issue as yet

The product is Good - The comeback for additional payment - Not!
The product is good. Salesperson via FaceBook inquiry. Came out to the home to quote..
1st Quote was well over $1,000. Then, I asked for a better price, which was well under $1,000.
Same Product = Happy Days.
There was a massive Delay in supply, but in my role as Nat & Int'l Marketing / Sales & Manufacturing, I understood.
It was installed, and I and others were happy with the product.
Then downhill... Relentless e-mails, phone, and messages to pay an additional 50% of the cost as their finance has misplaced payment details. (Even though this was sent (to me) showing 'Paid in Full'. I sent it back to them, but they denied receiving the amount.)
After a daily onslaught, I gave in (on the advice of my new friends/neighbors who are also building a new house).
Rather know now how the transaction may eventuate now than later undertaking 10's of window screens (in progress) with another property in 12 months. All of which Screenaway was going to receive this business, as I told them due to the product being great.
The way to extract additional funds... not so great..
Buyer beware.... my soon-to-be neighbors sure are!

Worst company ! Been waiting for my blinds to be installed since 2021. Bad communication between installer and office. I ordered 6 blinds. 1 was installed correctly, 3 incorrectly and still currently waiting on 2 to be installed. Have sent numerous emails and msgs to the office which they never answer any questions. They just simply dismiss my concerns. Such a rude and unprofessional company. Have heard from alot of others who have had really bad experiences. Such a shame because the good blind that I have is amazing just a headache trying to get them to fix my others. So overall the product itself if done correctly is great and true to their advertising. But a massive thumbs down to the company, installers and communication!

It was a really easy process… the sales person came, gave us a quote. Told us it was going to be up to 10 weeks. By week 4 they were installed and they look great. Pitch black, excellent for the kids rooms.

Only gave 3 stars because of the product and the installer (who was the most pleasent part of the experience). Signed the overpriced contract on 18/01/23 and just installed today. Had to prompt them to get the check measure (a joke) done (2 week delay). No communication from the "service team" until I asked (05/03/2023) when installation was to take place. First booked installation (14/03/2023) did not take place because installer had to go home sick (again I had to ask when he didnt turn up). As I say installation took place today and although overpriced, am happy with the product. Thanks to Warren (installer)

These guys are a BIG SCAM.
They take your advance and then threaten you to pay penalties for things that you don't even know. They don't even have a office or a showroom for their product. They come to you with some samples which aren't manufactured by them and provide a very minimal quote to get the advance.
