We have had an exceptional experience with Seadon, from the products to the staff everything is 5 star. My husband has been practically living in his merino wool long sleeve and the hiking pants are comfortable and quality. Will continue to purchase from them in the future.

The Helios pants are probably my favorite hiking pants I have ever worn because of how well it fits. Other companies pants I find are way too long at the bottom and this one is just right. The material is really comfortable and seems to be really durable when I went rock climbing in them.

The Traveler also fits really well on me as the sleeves are the perfect length and doesn't get bunched up by the wrist.

The Trailblazer T is VERY comfortable and I love the technical aspect of the sewn panel by the armpit area which adds to it as well as movement wise.

The Gale jacket is super lightweight, comfortable, and warm enough for early mornings. I thought it was a really nice touch to have the secret stash pocket and the key loop. Also, the hood fits a climbing helmet which is a big plus.

All in all I really love all the pieces as they are well designed, comfortable, and on top of that the materials used are recycled. It's rare to find companies that have great products along with good ethics.

I am super stoked on the shirts I got from Seadon, they are incredibly soft and comfortable. I seriously have worn the tank a few days in a row, I just don’t want to take it off! I feel like I am pretty particular with my clothes and was pleasantly surprised with the quality, the fit and their commitment to being sustainable, even down the the packaging that it was shipped in.

Seadon's products have been beyond amazing! I've been thoroughly impressed by their quality & fabrics. I also really value their focus on environmental sustainability.

I have a few of Seadon tees & jackets, both held up super well on my recent backpacking trips. They are super lightweight, moisture wicking, and extremely comfortable even after a long sweaty day of hiking through the mountains. The unique materials they use in their clothes are truly stellar. Overall I'd 100% recommend their products for outdoor activities & as everyday wear!

I wore my Seadon pants for air travel. I spilled something on them. They remained perfectly comfortable the whole 6 hour flight - neither too hot or too cold. I spilled something on them and the spill came out in the wash. I think these are my new favorite travel pants! I hope thy come out with more colors like navy, khaki, stone.

Love all their products from shirts to pants to jacket! Hopefully they come up with similar designs for women especially the pants!

I've never really owned hiking pants before, I normally just used yoga pants because of the elasticity but often found them too hot after a while. I purchased the short and long and they have been wonderfully light and stretchy. The selling point for me is the sustainable materials that were used in the product and packaging.

I backed them on Kickstarter. I needed a good pair of hiking/travel pants for a recent trip to San Francisco and Yosemite. The pants and shirt were fantastic. The long-sleeved marino-wool blend was lightweight but kept the Bay chill off. The tank top worked great in the Valley heat. The pants were light, cool, but protective. I am also a plus sized girl and the pieces all fit nicely. That is VERY hard to come by for functional outdoor wear. I have extremely sensitive skin and the fabric was at times a bit itchy. Still wore all day and will wear again. It also wasn't quite enough sweat smell resistant for me to wear several days as they claim for the travel wear. It also wrinkled a bit too. Honestly though I haven't come across a travel brand that was truly smell and wrinkle proof, so the resistance is good enough for me. I would love for them to make a pair of pants that zip into shorts. Ones where the zippered portion doesn't cut into you thigh when seated. That would round out everything I would want for travel. I will most certainly by from this company again.

The pants are amazing! They are extremely comfortable and incredibly good looking. I am getting compliments everywhere I go. I love the gray color and the feel of the material. I recommend these pants to everyone.

The pants I ordered ended up being a little snug after putting a few pounds during work from home. I sent an email asking about an exchange, and they immediately responded and sent out a new pair of pants without requiring the originals sent back in advance.

Seadon clothes are repeat winners! I've been a fan of Seadon for a couple of years and have multiple iterations of their clothes from Kickstarters. They're sturdy, dry fast, and are super comfortable. The Helios, my most recent purchase, are no exception. Can't wait to see what else they come up with.

I own a number of Seadon apparel and I'm extremely satisfied with all of them. Not only do they make great, quality items, but they also put the environment in mind when making them. Whether it's using upcycled materials, or even shipping them in cardboard and compostable bag, they always think of a way to have a positive impact.

Their shirts are very soft and comfortable. They have a few different types and each is better than the next.

The Helios pants are extremely comfortable to wear. They move and stretch with you. I don't have to worry about them ripping when I squat down to pick up my baby, and I don't have to worry about them being too hot when I'm playing with my dog outside.

I'll continue to support this great company on their mission to make comfortable and sustainable products.

Great company to deal with and an amazing pair of trousers! Super comfy and lightweight, love the product credentials. Totally recommend them, looking forward to summer here in NZ and lots of hiking!

The material is light and barely noticeable when wearing which is good.
It could be better from wearer point of view :
- choice of color. It could be darker tones to mask any perspirations since light colors tends to show more "wet spots". I have yet to test this theory.
- belt loop could be improved as surplus of length is dangling before it can reach the loop.
- any one of the side and back pockets have a secured means to keep them closed. At the moment, only the thigh pocket have closing means.
- the cinch at the bottom of the leg could be made a bit more less irritating if not in use as it keeps on brushing against the leg when walking.
Will get back after a good trail hike and more usage.

I got a pair of Helios cropped pants as part of Seadon's recent Kickstarter campaign. They accidentally sent me a size down from what I ordered but were very quick to alert me to the error and to also organise for a speedy exchange. 10/10 for customer service!

Pants-wise, the material is lightweight, breathable, stretchy and the grey colour I got it in would match pretty much anything else I'd wear. I haven't had the chance to test it hiking yet due to the ongoing lockdowns here in Melbourne but am keen to once restrictions are eased. All in all a great pair of pants, not just for hiking, but also for everyday wear.

Some suggestions for improvement would be to expand on the range of pant colours, have zippers for the pockets (to prevent things from falling out while we scale mountains and run across fields ;)), and to introduce back pockets or experiment with fabrics that disguise VPLs, which are the bane of women's active wear.

The pants are no joke.
Material is hardy but super light weight, runs quite slim. For guys with larger legs, may want to go a size up. Crotch area in men’s could be dropped an inch but that’s personal preference.
Pockets are streamlined, don’t expect to have multiple items in one pocket. If travelling worldwide they are easily packable and weigh very little.
Haven’t gotten them wet yet so can’t vouch on the drying side of things.

Comfort is incredible, almost feels like your wearing nothing at all!
Breathability is unparalleled in a pair of pants, blows my mind how the material is both super tough and can be worn in the sun comfortably.
Not a rock climber but definitely will see these gain popularity in the sport.
Belt&elastic waistband combo is incredible, works so well.

Well worth the wait, hopefully a wider range of colours to become available and minor tweaks for men’s to allow more crotch room!

Good quality product, fabric is excellent for breathability, elasticity, etc. One improvement would be the pockets, felt like something could fall out easily, could use a button or similar closing mechanism.

Great pants. The material is lightweight and very comfortable to wear, and breathes super well in hot temperatures. As comfortable as shorts, even on warm, muggy days. The fit is solid, and the elastic component of the waistband gives plenty of adjustability.
Areas for improvement: The belt webbing strap could be better; the g-hook isn't very secure, and the long excess strap isn't a good look, and there's nowhere to discreetly tuck it in. The back pocket should have a zipper to keep a wallet secure while travelling or hiking/climbing. The pull-tab on the cargo-pocket zipper should be colored similarly to the fabric, not in a bright red that stands out so much. The cinch mechanism on the hems should be soft, so that no matter the sitting position, the pants are comfortable and there's not a small plastic piece digging into your leg.

Even with all that said, 5/5 pants. Wear them all the time.

I was a part of the kickstarter and was so happy with the pants that I ordered 2 more. The material is great and feels comfortable even when wet. A side note is that these pants run a little smaller than the generous sizing we are used to in the states.
