Simon was so helpful, he made the process feel accessible and really explained everything thoroughly. It was a brilliant service, 10/10 and I would highly recommend.

I am a first time buyer of a late victorian and Simon's been really helpful and knowledgable with this type of property! I appreciate him walking around the property with me at the end of his survey of the house - this has helped with understanding everything in the report. The report was written up and sent over quickly.

Very informative.
From before we booked the survey, to communicating with us when it was going to happen, to calling from the property. The report was sent to us that evening! It was very thorough and clearly laid out so it was easy to read. The photos and the house diagram at the end of the report helped too. I really felt a thorough job was carried out and felt at ease with the next steps with purchasing the house after this surveyor visited.
It was average price compared to quite a few others. I couldn’t recommend searchlight surveyors enough!

Searchlight recently carried out a homebuyers survey on our house purchase. Simon was very good at communicating both prior to the survey and post survey, when I had a couple of questions Simon responded promptly and gave me clear information which satisfied my concerns. Simon also advised me what was the most appropriate level of survey as originally I was going for a level 3 (full survey) but Simon explained the options and recommended a level 2. Would highly recommend.
