excellent interface and response
I have found their user interface superior to others. One can easily see a list or map. When using the map I can see the shop and select for more details. Before signing up for the shop - details are listed what is required. No 'sign up' than cancel after to see what is is required. The time for the shop is drive, the shop AND how long the survey will take so we need to know how long the survey will take.
You are penalized if you cancel. You lose shop points (status) and new shoppers will be terminated if they cancel when new.
They pay timely and direct to bank which is nice.
As I new shopper I did need to wait for a check mailed to me the first time.
They have an amazing phone/email interface and respond in a timely manner. They don't always answer right away but often. I find their staff are amazing real and helpful team members.
How long it takes to approve a shop for payment varies from 2-7 days. I have some write up issues and they sent it back and told me what I needed to correct.
So far I've been paid for all my shops.
Many shops require a purchase with no reimbursement - I tend to avoid these. I had a shop that said that it would reimburse up to 5 and when I got to the shop, I learned there was nothing less than 12 - that was frustrating, but I know not to do that shop again!
Pay is low on the majority. Most restaurant shops require more food than sometimes can be fit in with reimbursement, and does NOT include the tip. There is no added payment for all the work. So I make sure I am getting a meal worth the time.
Since I love their interface so much, I am bummed that they don't have more shops I can do in my area. I look at other shop sites and see interfaces not up to secretshopper par.
I saw the review on the dental shop, I did not do the shop as I saw a high risk of missing something and not being paid. Doing shops where we pay is concerning.
I did have a shop, and when I got home I saw my receipt was marked incorrectly for the required shop -but I did as i was required - I had to call the shop and ask about my receipt but I was able to prove I followed all the instructions and ended up being paid - but it was nerve wracking.
