Excellent service done by Mark. Verry happy with recovering my data

Secure Data Recovery Services deserve the highest praise for their caring and competent approach/reassurance at what was an extremely stressful time for me. I had just lost my wife and the discovery that there was a problem with the memory card in my camera filled me with despair at the prospect of losing many valued photographs on the card, which included photographs of her in the period before her passing.
I was able to take the card to their base and again, was reassured by their caring approach and explanation of the process they used. They kept to the timescale they had given me and you can imagine my relief when their team members confirmed that the recovery had been successful!
Whilst I hope not experience with a card in the future, I would not hesitate to use them again and to recommend them to friends should the need arise. Thank you Secure Data Recovery Services - your skills and reassurance were greatly appreciated.

Huge thank you to the wonderful engineers who recovered 5 years of treasured video memories from my old video camera. After switching on my video camera to find a particular event, I found that the data was not accessible. Secure Data was recommended and offered a no recovery, no fee. Reviews were positive so I was hopeful. So, after a few months of anxiety, I was overjoyed to receive all of my data recovered and posted back to me. As a recently retired Chief Technical Consultant in a multinational in the field of Computer Vision, I have a long business (and academic) career in various areas of computing.
A vital and extensive record of certain domestic Events, and my son's Student finance docs ranging over the several years of training in medicine were on a 2TB Hard Drive, and had become inaccessible. My memory is not good and I approached SDR for help in recovering my data . I spoke initially to Tom Bellamy and latterly to the UK Regional Manager Mark Cooney. I found the team there, very sympathetic to my plight. The communications with SDR by phone and email were excellent, and always patient.
There was never a "hard sell", just good old-fashioned trust and decency from Mark.
The company allows you to inspect all filenames recovered (see below), at which point if you are not happy, you can end the job with no cost to you.
I delayed my decision over a long period, because it is not cheap, and also I wanted to understand in detail what I could expect to recover from my corrupted Hard Disk. I sent SDR file paths that I could identify (from my PC desktop links) as areas likely to hold crucial data.
After the work was completed, I received my old corrupt disk back and a new WD My Passport 2TB disk with the full recovery on it. In addition there were small software applications that made it easy for me to locate the recovered data. The recovery rate was 99.6% of data recovered was working data - which is amazing.
A first class outfit, with first class results in my case.

I called and had a conversation with someone to explain I had some photos on an external hard drive which had got damaged (the port into which the cable plugged in had come out). I was asked how valuable the data was to me and how quickly I needed it. I explained not very and no great rush. Following their "free diagnosis" they called with a quote of £1,236.05 - that didn't include the new drive that they would transfer them to. When I refused and told them the photos weren't work that much I received a follow up call to say they had reduced the cost to £357 and when I said that was still too much I received an email demanding £25 for the return of the drive.

I had an extraordinary experience with this company, and especially with Nigel, who provided what felt like genuinely personal support during a very challenging data issue I was facing.
They not only approached the situation with professionalism and care, but ultimately proved that they were able to resolve the problem — which, for me, was nothing short of a lifesaver.

Nigel was amazing he kept me up to date throughout the whole process even when it was irretrievable.

I was totally devastated when my hard drive stopped working and thought I had lost years of photos and really important files forever. I was so stressed sending it off and honestly didnt think anything could be done, but this company where so kind and patient and kept me updated the whole time. When you make a sales call and the person says that they are not interested, that should be the end of the matter.

I said that I wasn't interested and put the phone down, and he immediately tried to call me back again.

My work Laptop crashed, damaging the internal SSD drive in the process. The drive hard years of data, including work and personal engineering projects. Original data conceived by myself. The kind of data, that could not be reproduced. My best option was to have the data recovered using forensic methods. Individuals handling the operation needed to be of the best repute, to prevent data leakage.

Further to this, I am not a resident of the United Kingdom. I live in The Republic of Malawi, a country in Central East Africa. to perform the recovery, the drive had to be shipped to their facilities.

The whole process including all payments on my end were facilitated by their excellent service and favourable payment plans.

If it had not been, for the persistency of the dedicated staff at Secure Data Recovery, I would have lost years of work. Work I can never recreate to the exact quality.

I had an excellent experience with Secure Data Recovery. After my drive failed, they managed to recover around 96% of all my files, which was far more than I expected. Their team were quick to respond, kept me updated throughout the process, and made everything incredibly straightforward. The recovered files were delivered directly to my house on a new hard drive, neatly organized and ready to use. I really appreciated their professionalism, clear communication, and efficiency — they turned what could have been a really stressful situation into an easy and reassuring process. My experience was that of an elaborate price gouging. I am asking my device to be sent back without recovery, because the information I was provided was not completely honest. The staff have been nothing but kind, helpful and quick in their action. But it is clear, at least in my case, that there is price gouging.
When I looked at the price range by clicking on "Select your desired turnaround time via the link" in my email, the diagnostics was that the price would be between £200 and £500+. I sent my SSD and after their actual diagnostics they asked for more than £3,350. This price is 6 times higher than the highest price I was initially informed. I would not have sent my SSD if I knew that they would have asked for such a high price.
The staff have kindly informed that the high price is due to the time engineers would have to spend to recover data. Nevertheless, I still think that either I could have been provided with a more accurate estimate or the price is much higher than it should have been.

Experience was lovely, Tom really helped us out and helped us to recover a lost data from corrupted SD card which was corrupted because its memory finished during a video recording. I really recommend the service and their terms and conditions are very pleasant and offer you full protection from anything. Very recommended!

Be careful if you enter any contact details when getting quotes from multiple companies. These people will email again and again and again. And call. And email. And call. Even after you say no.

A mature professional company does not need to pressure customers like this.
