I’m so glad that I decided to go ahead and get the Self card because it not only has it helped my credit score. It is helping me budget a little bit better. Paying more than a minimum payment when is due

Great app for helping you improve credit, my only wish is that I could remove notifications for the self card in the app until I'm ready to apply.

My credit score drastically dropped when I paid off my self lender loan. My credit was already above average when I started, but I wanted to bump it to excellent.
I practiced all good credit behavior and my score did rise. It was “excellent” for about 9 months. Once I paid my lender account off, it dropped 60 points! Now I’m lower than when I started! And I have no idea how to fix this! I never missed a payment and all of my other accounts are in great standing with no missed payments and low credit usage. I am so sad about this. I will never recommend this terrible service to anyone.

Payments are fast and easy. The service is great and the app is very reliable.

Always a great app to help me get a better credit score

Self did not help me increase my credit score how they claimed. As well as the pay out I nice paid off has taken 2 1/2 weeks for them to process which I’ve called to see if I can use the expedited payout option they stated I had but they declined the expedited payout. Still waiting on my payout. I would not suggest to use self for establishing credit.

The service has been amazing

So I am happy that I was able to use your app and my credit score has gone up a little what would I am disappointed in
Is that I wish that somebody would have explained to me when I was done with my two year thing that to I wish I would have known to keep it open.But you guys didn't explain that to me.So I closed it thinking that was what I needed to do.But apparently that was wrong

Wonderful app that has built my credit score to 720 when it was a 500, in less than 6 months.

The flexibility of accounts and credit building.

I been with Self for about a year and a half and at first I thought and it looked like it was doin good. I paid the $500 to get a self debit card with my $500 on it that acted like a credit card. Then I missed a payment and they locked my card that still has over $200 of my money on it. They wouldn't give it back to me and wanted me to pay back what was mine to begin with. They called it a security deposit and then they threaten to report it and hurt my credit over one missed payment when they just could close my account and send me my money and call it a day. There are better ways to improve your credit without giving your money away. Ridiculous.

I think this is a great opportunity to raise your credit score. I was a victim of identity theft and my credit score dropped tremendously. So with self and making on time payments, my score is going up!

Do not use, they claim I was 30 days late on there credit builder credit card 5 years ago. Since then I have built amazing credit . No thanks to them . They seen that my payment got lost in the mail and they still would not wiggle at all . It’s now the only thing that hurts my credit . Use any other company they are more forgiving
