Easy to build credit!

Yall send good notifications. They always have a purpose and it doesn't feel like yall are just trying to sell me something.

This company accepted me when I had horrible credit and no one else would so I greatly appreciate them giving me a second chance. Only complaint from me would be the $25 annual fee for my self credit card.

There are better options if you want to build credit. The customer service is bad and they aren’t transparent or accountable.

Excellent for rebuilding credit.

I’ve reached out multiple times about my payout check that I NEVER received. I’ve talked to multiple agents. And was told the fraud department would reach out to me. I NEVER received an email, I even emailed twice with no response. This is disappointing because people trust this company with their money, and I have been failed. I would LOVE to get the money back that I put into this company. Very upset.

SELF Credit Builder - Do Not Signup for or Use if your credit score is low or better or you want to improve your credit score. I had low to fair credit score. It was recommended I get SELF to help build and improve my low score. Within the First and only month I had SELF, my score dropped 78 points total. From the moment I signed up and it was reported to the bureaus, to having automatic bill payments and other automatic payments scheduled and reported, my low score kept dropping for No apparent reasons. I called SELF, but they knew nothing and could not provide any satisfactory rationale as to why in less than a month my score continued to drop. After cancelling my SELF account that same month, my score jumped 70 points the very next reporting cycle 15th of the next month. SELF will help a very small, small percentage of people, But for those that have low score or higher, SELF is just taking your money's and not giving anything back. 1 month is all I needed to realize SELF was not the credit builder it claimed to be for Me. For most, SELF is Not and will Not be Helpful.
