This was the only site to respond to my request to sell my Golf GTI which I was reluctantly selling due to disability.

After agreeing on a couple of existing faults a satisfactory price was reached and the money was in my account within seconds. Painless!

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews. However, I feel it’s important to acknowledge excellence when I see it. From the very first message I received from Sell My Car Derbyshire expressing an interest in buying my car, I was impressed with the communication style. I agreed for them to have a look at my car and Tyler agreed to visit me at 2pm the same day. He was dead on 2pm when he arrived. He was polite and friendly. We had an honest conversation about the car and I took him for a test drive. We agreed on a fair price that we were both happy with. The money was paid into my account immediately, and the deal was done after a handshake and the car was gone. Absolutely fantastic selling experience. I would recommend these guys to anyone considering selling their car and don’t want the hassle of advertising or PX. I’m absolutely certain that I’ve achieved the best possible price for me and feel extremely satisfied with the outcome. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Turned up on time . Offered me a very decent amount. The 2 lads that turned up were exceptional with the knowledge about the vehicle, and they even told me when I brought it !

Turned up on time and was very pleasant, sold the car without issue or at least that is what I thought, until 2 months later I started to get penalty notices 5 so far for a car that I had sold to sell my car derbyshire, always appreciate a reply, but in over 30 years and selling a fair few cars, I have never had one pcn notice let alone 5 and who knows how many more to come, same as a possession left in the car asked for its return about 2 months ago still not be returned after saying it would be. I even had to chase up an invoice for the sale that was promised the day before. Personally I would never sell a car to a dealer again. Another pleasant reply, that is very strange as I know the postman well and they always take it to the post office for collection but they have said they have been sent back again so hopefully after 2 months I will get them back. Thanks for saying to send the pcn notices back but your advice to put return to sender is not really correct as they include a form that has to be filled in so maybe update your advice to other people when they get inundated with pcn notices after selling a car to you.

I got in touch with Jake and the team about selling my car, I was abit sceptical at first as I’ve never had a business come to my house to buy a car before. He kept in touch all day and gave me a time frame On when they’d arrive, They arrived and were very friendly they talked me through everything they were doing and offered a great price which I accepted for the car. the process was fast and hassle free.
