I decided to sell my car with sellyourcartoday from a recommendation from a friend and would absolutely refer going forward.
I did initially make a mistake with location but Josh at Wednesbury swiftly accounted for my time and did a quick check on the vehicle. I was quoted more than my minimum and Josh kept me updated throughout the whole process explaining the thought process on how the company runs.
Overall very happy with the service here, so seamless and efficient.

The figure offered was £2,500 less than the email offer. The reason was the milage but that was declared on the form submitted.

The lads were decent enough when I got there but the price they offered was about 2k less than the lowest price on their online scale. I had also received a phone call prior to my appointment in which they reaffirmed that the car would only be at the lower end of the scale if it “needed some TLC”, which it does not. The car is immaculate and has only done 10k in 3 years from new. I felt like it was an absolute waste of time on a rainy evening; had I known the price would be close to that low I would not have bothered! It seems this is very common with this company and so I’d go somewhere else. I’ve had higher offers from garages and so don’t be fooled by their online nonsense scale!

Don’t be too reliant on receiving anything in the range of the online offer. Our seven year old Roland Garros 208 Peugeot had covered only 21,000 miles was in excellent condition and the interior was immaculate but had to accept below their minimum online offer. However that was still above offers from all the other companies. So as not to disappoint sellers too much maybe SellYourCarToday should not set an offer range higher than their intention to pay. Shuck was polite, courteous and informative. His colleague Derek was also polite and friendly. All in all it was an acceptable experience and would recommend.

Absolutely shocking. Do not use this service. You will not get anywhere near valuation prices. Expect less than the very bottom of the valuation. If you do decide to go through this process, expect to feel ripped off and robbed.

Huge rip off, give you a valuation online, confirm it on the phone and then when you get there the first comment is, - we dont go off the online valuation we use our own.

The guy dealing with us was nice enough, however, I wouldnt bother going there unless you want to be ripped off.

Was given an incredibly wide valuation range and told the minimum I’d be paid for my vehicle via email was £259. This is to lure you in.

Was called repeatedly to arrange to take it in and felt almost bullied into making an appointment, even though I explained repeatedly I was in work and could I get back to them when I had time/was ready but the lady on the phone refused to take no for an answer, I should’ve just hung up. Explained that I didn’t really want to drive all the way there to find I’d be getting the lowest end of the pay scale, but I was assured that the price on the email would be the least I’d get and that if I arranged there and then, that there would be £100 extra and they pay more GUARANTEED!

I get there to be told that my car is basically only worth scrap, that the “£100 extra” is already included in the price they’re offering me (not sure how this this extra in that case) and to be quite honest, the salesman, as polite as he was, just kept repeating himself and speaking so fast, it felt like I was just being bamboozled because I don’t know enough about cars.

Also worth noting, I’d actually been offered more by another car place, but by this point I was so done, I just wanted it all over with, so their guarantee means BUGGER ALL!

My advice, stay away, if your car is junk, take it directly to a scrap yard, if it’s in decent condition, take it to a decent garage. AVOID THESE GUYS AT ALL COSTS!
