Krista has been an amazing science teacher for our son. She was energetic, creative, and adapted brilliantly to his unique learning style. Both of our sons have autism and our educated at home. We have worked with many tutors, but Krista definitely ranks as one is the best. We will miss her now that the boys are returning to a school setting.

Linda has really helped my son to improve his maths. He has a diagnosis for adhd and has struggled with being able to concentrate or show interest in maths. However, with Linda's help he has improved greatly. The lessons are calm, seem interesting and my son has been helped to focus on the material.

Krista has been an incredible support—truly a blessing in my child’s life. My son, who has ASD and ADHD, has formed such a strong connection with her, and it’s made a real difference. She’s fun, always smiling, shares jokes with him, and consistently helps him see himself in a positive light. She also keeps me regularly updated, which I really appreciate.

What really stands out is how deeply she understands his unique needs. She meets him where he’s at, breaks things down in a way that makes sense to him, and designs lessons that feel completely tailored to him. Learning with Krista never feels overwhelming—in fact, it never even feels like “school work” to him. He genuinely enjoys their sessions and looks forward to them, which is so important as he prepares for his GCSEs.

Honestly, we would have felt lost without her. Krista has a true gift—not only for teaching, but for making people feel seen, heard, and understood. When you meet her, it feels like you’ve known her for years.

She has a heart of gold. She’s kind, professional, always punctual, and a joy to have working with my son. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

My daughter lexi has septo optic dysplasia, she is autistic and is severely sight impaired. Rebecca has been absolutely fantastic with lexi. Very reliable and punctual. Rebecca has always made sure we are happy with what she is doing for lexi. As a family we are very grateful for Rebecca's time with lexi. Lexi will miss her when she starts school.

The website made it really easy to find a local tutor/mentor that met our needs. Our mentor Kelly has been amazing working with my 16year old daughter. She has been incredibly kind and patient as well as creative with trying different approaches. I have been very lucky to find at SENsational Tutors the best Autism Specialist that my son could have. Eimear has been offering amazing social and behavioural interventions to my son with autistic spectrum disorder and ADHD for quite long time as she has both the Knowledge/ degrees and long special experience with SEN children with a variety of needs. I have tried many different specialists. She is a marvellous professional and offers exactly what my son needs to progress both socially and academically. She is a combination of a kind hearted & patient personality and hard working young woman that sets and achieves the highest goals for my kid. She has been an exceptional tutor for Laroy, leading to significant improvements in his performance since she began teaching him. Her engaging approach has fostered a positive rapport, allowing Laroy to open up and thrive in his learning environment. Glynda has an amazing understanding and respect of our daughters needs and behavior, and the way Glynda approach and engage her is amazing to experience. Our daughter (ASD and PDA) is in autistic burnout and struggles with anxiety, and Glynda´s ability to create a safe and student led learning environment for her is one of a kind.
We recently used Glynda´s expertise through an ASD assesment of our daughter, and the psychiatrist said that she was thrilled to see, how Glynda understands, respects and educate our daughter, and that it is rare to find a tutor with such great insight. And yes, we as parents agree! We are so grateful to have Glynda as part of our children's educational and developmental journey.

Leon was the catalyst that enabled our daughter to sit her GCSE exams. He was patient, encouraging, and empathetic with her. He kept an open mind and invested time in building trust with her. Furthermore, he understood her needs and tailored his approach accordingly.
It was remarkable to see the progress that she made because of Leon’s intervention. Without his encouragement, continuous support, and compassion, she would not have been able to reengage in her studies. Thank you, Leon!

Our son has been working with Hina for a few months and the improvements have been significant. He is engaged with the sessions on a way that I didn't think was possible, and his learning has accelerated, with maths no longer being a feared subject.

I was so lucky to find Kelly, who was wonderful with my son Tom, helping him with GCSE revision and general organisation. He was always willing to attend the sessions, which is a credit to Kelly, as he can be picky with tutors! She was incredibly patient and kept him engaged for a full hour and half each time. A year ago we took the decision to search for a tutor for our son. He had recently been diagnosed as having Autism with a PDA profile and ADHD. He was doing well in Maths and Sciences, but his grades for English, History and Ethics ranged between 1 and 3. We enlisted the help of Krista, and she has been amazing.

She is always punctual to online lessons and flexible with changes like holidays. Krista has a great relationship with my son, who can sometimes be lacking in social skills, but it is a delight to hear her engaging with him. She is always incredibly enthusiastic and has taken the time to interact and understand him. She gives detailed and insightful feedback after every lesson, keeping us in the loop of how he has progressed.

Having asked my son what he thought of his lessons with Krista, he described her as "kind and helpful. She's really good at explaining and she's organised". She has kept him focussed in lessons and has helped him with strategies of how to answer GCSE questions. We await the results but regardless, extend our thanks to Krista for her support and hard work.

Jane has been teaching my daughter (A) English Language and English Literature for 9 months. She is kind, patient and very flexible, taking time to understand A (who is ASD) and her needs. This has enabled A to be educated in a way that improved her confidence and be able to flourish. 9 months ago, A could not write any creative writing at all and was literally scared of taking up a pen. Maths and Science she understands: generally a right or a wrong, but English is so different. However, with Jane's help and support, I now cannot stop her from writing creatively, e.g. last weekend she was 'bored' and sat down and wrote a fantastic piece that we are all in awe of! I cannot thank Jane enough.

On the company itself, I have found the process seamless and the little email tips I receive have been helpful.

Jane has successfully worked with my daughter for 8 months and supported her achieve the goal of confidently sitting her GCSEs alongside her peers. She took the time to understand my daughters learning and teach her in a style that suited her individual processing needs. Her calm, clear, consistent style helped build my daughters self confidence in herself and her academic ability. She created a strong bond with my daughter by listening and going at my daughters pace. Jane's knowledge and experience of the GCSE curriculum and exam content is exceptional and all her tutoring was focused around exam content and technique. I would highly recommend Jane without hesitation.

We have had the most fantastic experience with Alli at Sensational tutors. She has really taken the time to get to know our son and to build a connection with him. The trust she’s built with him has been so important in allowing him to then gain confidence in his learning with her. In meeting him where he is at and then ensuring learning links to his interests it’s been amazing to watch him gaining skills and confidence. We couldn’t be happier with the progress he’s making but even more so with how much he’s enjoying his learning with her.

Louise embodies all the wonderful qualities of a true vocation to teaching. She has changed my 5 year olds world (and his parents) in so many ways.
