My experience with SERMAT Construction Inc. was absolutely horrific, and I would never recommend this company to anyone. The workmanship at my home was atrocious. Every bit of it had to be torn out and redone by other companies.
On top of that, their employee's behavior was so hostile and unprofessional that I had them removed from my property. I spoke directly with both the employees and their boss and made it crystal clear they were not to return.
Then, the very next day, while I wasn't home, they came back anyway and entered my house without my permission. They had been removed. Their boss knew they had been removed. They were explicitly told not to come back. Yet they did.
I even gave the owner the chance to come see the disaster, and he refused. I was forced to hire other companies to fix the work. After all of that, they still had the nerve to try to bill me hundreds of dollars for incomplete, horrendous workmanship and continued contacting me about payment.
Poor workmanship alone would have been enough for a bad review, but returning to my property and entering my home after being told not to is beyond unacceptable. This was appalling. Because of this experience, I strongly caution others before hiring this company.
