Concerns with Hosting Provider's New Domain Name Policy
"I've purchased hosting on behalf of a government hospital and used a free domain name that was included with the plan. However, due to your new policy, I am now being asked to pay for these previously free domain names. This has created a concern for me as I currently have two active hosting plans with five domain names in total, two of which were supposed to be free. The increased cost of renewing these additional domain names, combined with the already higher pricing compared to other hosting providers, has left me feeling dissatisfied with the service. I hope that you will reconsider this policy to better serve your customers

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are very sorry to hear that you didn’t have a great experience. Please keep this thing in mind that some company offers free domain on signup but on the renewal, no company is offering a free domain now and will charge you domain amount separately. This actually means you will get relief in the first year but later on, you will be charged more. The reason is, in current times, It is impossible for any hosting company to offer free domain for lifetime and manage all the cost including (hardware, software and domain registry fee) at such a low price. Hope you will understand and we will look continuous support and for being such a loyal customer.

In the least five or so years My first real experience with he support team and it was pathetic
i have been their customer for sometime now, wasn't doing much over the years so never needed their help. However, lately my experience has been pretty pathetic with the support team. I was experiencing a problem with installing magento however, after explaining my problem at least for two days I was told by the support team to check google for errors. Surprising! it wasn't until I replied with a solution from google. Even the attitude of the support team on call is such that "I have to be privileged that they are attending my call and they are giving me service" Its amazing to find such a mentality prevailing. Even though I have complained but nothing it was if I was taken for granted.

On 13 March 2023 Ticket#594407 was received, and upon your request on the same day the sodium extension was enabled on production machine and there is nothing to do with php.ini, our technical support engineer Mr. Steve Martin has also tested to install Magento on your domain which you have also confirmed. Please feel free to contact our customer service with any further comments, concerns, or suggestions you wish to share. We would love to make things right and provide possible services to our valued customer.

Reliability, Speed, Security, Scalability, and Competitive pricing are key features of success for a domain provider and hosting company.

I have been a client of Serversea for about 14 years. I do not need support often, but when I do they go above and beyond in providing tech support and offering solutions to resolve the issue. We understand your concern and from time to time we intimated our valued customers about the facts which are, cPanel revised their prices about 800 percent, domain registrars increased their prices and the major factor is Pak rupees devaluation, as you are aware that current economic/financial crises has pushed US Dollar price, in relation to Pak Rupees, to new height. it’s very hard for ServerSea to maintain the price at lowest cost and to survive in the industry. You may also know hosting and domain services import from abroad so it’s totally depends on dollar rate, our hosting and domain charges get adjusted whenever the US Dollar price comes down or up. I hope you will understand.
