I am so glad to be a member of Sew Doc Academy! What a very helpful community, and extensive knowledge! I participate in the Vintage Sewing Machine Mastery class and the resources are invaluable!

I was extremely disappointed with the Sewing Doc Academy. Despite paying in full, I never received complete access to the promised materials and my attempts to contact them were ignored, forcing me to initiate a chargeback.

The course content was substandard. The lessons on cleaning and repair were superficial, focusing on appearances rather than addressing actual mechanical issues. Even more concerning were the outdated and potentially destructive restoration techniques taught for antique and classic machines. As an experienced restorer of antique mechanical items, I can attest that their methods risk damaging valuable parts and devaluing these irreplaceable machines.

This program seems more focused on profit than providing quality education. It equips graduates with inadequate and potentially harmful repair practices, setting them up to deliver unsatisfactory service to unsuspecting customers.

I strongly advise anyone seeking genuine sewing machine repair and restoration knowledge to look elsewhere. This course is a disservice to the craft and a potential danger to valuable machines.
