This is really a great service. I always have meals on hand, so I can decide if I want to simply eat one of them, or cook for myself that day. I have great tasty vegetables, lean proteins, all right in my fingertips. The way it's packaged is super convenient, because if I don't eat a meal I can just pop it directly into the freezer. I love it!

Have used this meal service for 6+ months and I receive consistent, quality meals and delivery. When an occasional glitch happens, customer service responds right away, actively listens to concerns and receives constructive feedback in the spirit of striving to improve. Individual shefs respond to feedback as well, and communication is professional and friendly. Pricing is mostly reasonable. Menu selections offer plenty of cultural/regional options. I highly recommend!

This time you got my delivery right and I really appreciate you getting it to my doorstep and picking up the red bags. I'll order again.

We have been loyal customers of Shef.com ever since they started their service in DC. We absolutely loved the variety of ethnic food to choose from and the diversity of excellent shefs from around the world! But we are very disappointed recently when Shef.com has reduced delivery to just 3 days a week and most of the amazing shefs we loved seem to have left. They are promoting a subscription based service now, the the meal choices there absolutely lack the diverse flavors that we loved. Now we are looking for alternatives on the DMV area.

Very convenient for getting tasty and healthy meals

Most of the meals we tried are very tasty.

A lot of trash; I have no use for those red cold bags. Food was pretty good, but not better than a restaurant and almost as expensive, and really not very healthy or fresh (no greens). A few items, like the ribs, were just bad.

I DIDN'T GET MY FOOD!!!! You guys are like useless zoo animals.

For the second time in two months a meal was missing from my delivery. Shef doesn’t do anything to remedy the miss except refund after YOU contact them. Clearly no QC going on in order fulfillment.

So far (this is our second order), the food has been delicious and the portions perfect for me and my husband. The deliveries have been a bit late and the most recent delivery person did not pick up our container from the previous week’s delivery. Other than that— we are very pleased!

Shef has a great variety of options. There are so many "shefs" in my area, fortunately so I'm able to try unique things. Customer Support has been really helpful and kind, so absolutely no complaints there.

This food is unbelievably tasty and the freshness is unbelievable even though I microwave all the meals. It’s definitely restaurant quality food, with a homemade/home-cooked meal feel and would recommend this for anybody. I am a 45-year-old single man who lives alone and does not enjoy cooking, but this really changes the game for me. I used to subscribe to factor, but it was very repetitive and wasn’t that tasty after the first couple weeks and with that being said once again these meals are truly tasty and I enjoy every single one that I’ve tried so far!

I’ve been ordering from the Shef marketplace platform since 2019, and it’s become a staple in my weekly routine. I joined their weekly meal subscription last year, and it makes my life so much easier — everything arrives ready to enjoy, so I can focus on my week without worrying about meals.

I’ve used Shef in SF, LA, and NYC, and no matter the city, I can always find healthy, delicious meals for a good price. The options are consistently fresh, satisfying, and take the stress out of figuring out what to eat.
