I wanted to address the $50 charge because I don’t feel it was fair or clearly communicated.

We were only 15 minutes late, and the session time was not extended or accommodated for, so we simply used the remaining time we had and were still able to complete the photos. We didn’t hold anyone up or waste additional time. In fact, had we arrived on time and ultimately only selected two photos from the session, the photographer would have had the opportunity to potentially earn more from the session and additional photos.

Instead, the $50 charge feels like a penalty for being 15 minutes late, even though we still received only the time that remained and did not create an additional inconvenience for anyone. If this was a specific late-arrival fee, I believe that should have been clearly stated upfront rather than being presented as a charge based on a service received.

Unfortunately, because of this, you’ve not only lost the opportunity for the photographer to potentially gain a returning client, but you’ve also lost me as a customer. I would have been happy to use your service again, but being charged an additional $50 for something that wasn’t clearly disclosed beforehand has left a very negative impression.

Booking was easy, prices are affordable, turnover is fast, and my photographer Jonathan was extremely professional.

We’ve been using Shoot since 2020. Three times and loved it and order photos every time! It is SO convenient and such a smart & cool idea! Love everything about it and will continue to book :)

I've been meaning to get pictures of my daughter and our toy poodle for years. Shoott made it so easy to book the shoot too. Our photographer was awesome and I was blown away by how amazing the photos looked when we got them back! I can't recommend these guys enough and now we plan to do a family photo shoot in the fall!

We used Shoott for the first time last weekend for our maternity photoshoot and it went SO well! We loved our photographer and our photo gallery was stunning- almost every photo was terrific! I am very pleased and will be using them again for sure and recommending to my friends and family. So pleasantly surprised and happy I tried them!

I have wanted to take family photos for years but was daunted by the task of researching photographers, then coordinating time & location with them, and then haggling over price or feeling like I had to commit hundreds of dollars to an experience or product I was unsure of. Shoott relieved me of ALL of this! Their platform made it SO easy and convenient to book a photo shoot at a time and location that worked for us; I loved being able to self-service online and also felt comfortable that I was only responsible for paying for the photos I purchased. I ended up having to reschedule one time, which was also super easy. And then the photo shoot itself was wonderful; our photographer was communicative, professional, friendly, and we love our photos! We ended up buying the whole gallery since we loved them so much and couldn't choose. This was a truly fabulous customer experience all-around and removed all of the pain points which I otherwise feared and dreaded about hiring a photographer. I will absolutely use Shoott again for family photos (and maybe for headshots too!) and highly recommend them.

Easy to book a session online. I did maternity photos. Photographer was kind and professional. Loved that the session was only 30 mins. My husband and I are happy with our photos and would book with Shoott again for professional high quality photos.

I love using shoott! We do our family photos through them every year and I have done my maternity photos through them as well. It's fun meeting the different photographers and they have always done a great job at helping us pose and keeping the kids engaged. I like that it's a short time because my kids don't last that long at a photo shoot.

I chose Shoott for a maternity photoshoot and unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing photography experiences I’ve had.

During our session, we visited multiple locations and captured a wide variety of poses. However, when the gallery was delivered, much of that variety was missing. Instead, there were multiple duplicate images and several photos with poor framing, including images where portions of our heads were cut off.

When I raised my concerns, I was told additional photos would be reviewed. The process dragged on for weeks, during which my gallery actually expired while I was still waiting for a resolution. After multiple follow-ups and escalations, only four additional photos were added.

What was most frustrating was the resolution itself. Despite acknowledging that the experience did not meet my expectations, acknowledging the delays, and acknowledging the issues with the gallery review process, Shoott’s final offer was a 20% discount on a single photo purchase. After all of the time spent going back and forth, this amounted to only a few dollars.

This was a maternity session documenting a once-in-a-lifetime moment for our family, and I expected much more care and professionalism in both the photography and customer service process.

While the customer service team was polite, the actual resolution felt dismissive and inadequate given the concerns raised. I left this experience feeling unheard, frustrated, and disappointed.

I would strongly encourage anyone considering Shoott to carefully manage their expectations regarding both the final gallery quality and how customer concerns are handled when something goes wrong.

Wonderful first experience with Shoott! Everything went as planned and photos turned out to be great!

This past weekend we had our third photo shoot with Shoott. All three experiences have been top notch. They are easy to book with, short and sweet, and we always get great pics. We have done family photos and grad pics and they were so affordable compared to other places we researched. All of the photographers we worked with were professional and did a great job posing us and editing and getting the specific shots I wanted. 10/10 recommend!

Super easy to book, all the times I’ve used it the photographer is on time at the meeting point and the photos turn out beautifully. It’s nice especially if new to the area and wanting to find a photographer to go to long term. Or if you’re like me and not picky about photo style and just want nice quality photos then just find a date and time and shoott will figure out the rest.

Shoott made the entire photography experience easy and stress-free from start to finish. The booking process was simple, communication was clear, and I appreciated being able to view my photos before deciding which ones to purchase. The platform connected me with a talented photographer and made everything seamless, from scheduling to receiving my gallery. I’m very happy with the experience and would definitely use Shoott again for future photo sessions.
