Good luck to anyone attempting to cancel an order they have placed via shop.beko.co.uk

Ordered a coffee machine that was on offer for clearance. They take the money at point of order which is fine for companies that have proper stock management... Tuesday after bank holiday I receive an email stating:-

Due to popular demand and limited stock, unfortunately we won’t be able to fulfil your order, which will be cancelled and refunded within the next 10 working days. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Email went on to state "As a thank you for shopping with us, we would like to offer you 20% off all coffee machines at shop.beko.co.uk"

Taking into account the fact that I'd used a 15% code on my order to begin with it was only an extra 5%.

To make matters worse I later received an email for signing up to the shop which had a 25% off voucher so the 20% was pointless.

Many of those that ordered multiple machines to sell on ebay have had their dispatch emails whilst myself and others that only ordered 1 and really wanted one are left without and out of pocket.

I don’t recommend BEKO washing machines, I’ve got one which is only a couple of years old and the glass door has just exploded. Thank goodness my elderly mum moved out the way just in time or she’d have had glass shatter all over her legs. There was glass everywhere, it’s extremely dangerous. The washing machine wasn’t overloaded and I checked again and there was nothing in any pockets or any other debris in the machine other than glass. None of the clothes had zips so I can’t see anything that would have caused such an explosion, it was awful. Very dangerous, I wouldn’t buy this brand again and I wouldn’t recommend them especially if you’ve got children as you can’t trust they won’t explode.

I want to return a kettle that I bought online but instructions for returns are out of date, with no one picking up the phone and old email details. It now looks like the 15 days returns window will no be over before I can return it as I go on holiday tomorrow.
