Very disappointingâŠ.
Iâm so disappointed with this store and Iâm sad to be writing a bad review but I feel other customers should be aware of my experience.
I bought an expensive Ralph Lauren Polo shirt from the Menâs clothing store. It looked small for a medium so I checked with the sales assistant, who was lovely but reassured me that it was definitely a Menâs. I had bought it as a gift for my son. When I got home, he tried it and it was too small - I double checked and on the back of the Good as Gold Label on very small print (which also had black ink smudged on it) it says âLadiesâ. So I emailed the store to request a return and was told that this was basically my error and they donât do exchanges.
Iâm not the kind of person to write bad reviews, but I think this really stinks! £45 is a lot of money for me so I hope this doesnât happen to anyone else!
I asked why the sales assistant didnât know to look at the label to check - but they did not respond.
They tried to tell me that the Menâs store also sells womenâs clothing but my friend and I looked through this shop twice in 2 days and only saw Menâs clothing.

Hi there Kelly! I'm so sorry you had a bad experience at this store. However, I believe you might have the wrong Good As Gold! We are based in Wellington, New Zealand and don't carry Ralph Lauren. We hope you find some form of resolution with the other Good As Gold you shopped with :)
