Replacement for damaged photo
Cristin is one of the best customer service members I've been ever experienced. Unfortunately, a photo signed by one of the best German ice hockey players in the NHL, which is very valuable for me and the recipient, arrived slightly damaged. Nobody is to blame for that. However, it was easily replaced with an existing identical photo at no additional cost to me, even though it had to be shipped out of the country to Europe. The transaction went smoothly. Ordered a jersey over a month ago as a birthday present. Never showed up.Was in stock at time of the order. Got no updates for a month. Today nhlshop emailed me to say they were out of stock and gave me a 25% discount code to use on their site. I went to reorder the jersey (that is apparently not in stock) and the 25% off coupon they sent doesn't even work. You would think they would at least remove the item from the website if it's "not in stock". Still waiting on a refund too...
Will definitely never order from them again. Poor customer service, and a poor experience overall.

Ordered a jersey for a black Friday deal in November 2022. Shipping date kept getting pushed back. There is no further update on when product will arrive. I'm too impatient to wait any longer and unfortunately, I cancelled the order.

I just read a review and I got exactly the same problem...
"Avoid. Couldn't cancel order or get in contact with customer services at all. Sent multiple emails to try and cancel but no response. Online chat always said no one available. Now order has arrived, the returns portal won't recognise the order number so I cannot return and, again, cannot get hold of customer services. Definitely avoid"
Moreover, the customer service offered a free shipping for the return.
After two days another person from the same customer service withdrew the free shipping offer.
I confirm. Definitely a bad customer service.

Bad & anticipating worse
Not as bad as some of the reviews on here but I placed my order a week ago and still awaiting any kind of confirmation of order. So I figured I'd come on here to check out the reviews after experiencing some poor customer service via the online chat. I've come to the conclusion that sadly my order will turn out like many other patrons of the NHL shop, I'm either going to be waiting a long time or I'll be lucky to see my order at all. We shall see .. in any case if it turns up tomorrow my experience up until now has been very poor.

They really do not deserve any stars. Ordered a retro Sabres Jersey in Nov. 2022 and still DO NOT have it. Been in contact with customer service which by the way is the worst and all they do is give excuses after excuses. Now they are saying it was delivered Dec 23rd when in fact it wasn't. They will not replace it because I raised enough fuss they gave me back my money but was still going to ship. I don't think the jersey exists to be honest
Misleading Size Chart/Poor Customer Service
The size chart for jerseys is very misleading, ended up with one way too small
I recieved an authentic NHL jersey as a Christmas gift, which was a few days after the '30 day from delivery' return window for manufacture direct items. The manufacturer has extended their typically 30 day return policy for the Christmas season to around 90, yet NHLshop.ca says there is nothing they can do.
They're site is misleading and I strongly recommend ordering any manufacture direct items directly from the manufacturers store.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered items on 4th November as my Son's main Christmas present. The items did not turn up. I received automated emails saying I was receiving a refund however there does not appear to be a facility to interact with anyone to ask questions.
My 10 year old son was pretty upset, so I tried to go back on and reorder the items however none of my cards seem to work on the site which is an awful website to use.
I am pretty disgusted at the whole experience and I am now trying to source NHL memorabilia so I never have to use Fanatics (NHL Shop) ever again.

I ordered a black jersey, and received a blue one. I contacted customer service and they offered to send the right one. When I got the second one, it was blue.
