Everything good. I’m very happy with the service.

They initially trick you into a good offer, then they find every reason to increase the charges constantly
The worst thing is how rude all the staff are, none of them have any customer service or manors

I verified im id in the office and yet my account was not verified

Overall good experience. Good stotage facilities. Office is open on a Sunday.

There is an additional lock charge of £15 which they only tell you about at the end. Plus you'll end up buying insurance too which adds a little bit more.

Not bad. But the price needs to be looked at

Positives:
1. Quite clean overall

Negatives:
1. INSANE price hike from £157 to £230-that’s 44% increase from 2022 to 2024!!! My storage is exactly the same, in fact it’s worse now as they removed the light from the end of hallway, and I can’t see into my unit! They give you a 1 month’s notice for the price increase and leech off of you. Also, overall experience in location got worse as time went by as described below. Price increase absolutely not justified.

2. When I joined, opening hours were from wee hours in the morning to late evening. It was convenient and part reason why I joined-but they changed that to open at 7, closing at 8PM. That gives you barely any time after work hours to get there in London traffic. Excuse? Security reasons. They could pay security staff more for longer hours.

3. As mentioned, removed all lights from end of each hallway. So if your unit is there, suddenly you were left with VERY dark unit you can’t see into without mobile phone torch. They said I can move a unit but why should I waste time moving a lot of stuff when paying exorbitant prices, and someone else will have a same problem when eventually this one will be given away? Feels like an odd, cheapskate move to save them money.

4. For a few months this year, one of the two lifts was out of order. There are no stairs. That’s not good enough for few storey high storage building.

5. Now the lift works, the exit gate is broken and you exit via entry gate.

After writing this, I realise it’s time to find a new place.

I was completely impressed with Brad's professionalism and customer service. Explained everything clearly and answered all questions in depth.

SO easy to use and very effective service

Not much to tell, it’s quite different from the other storage I was at, your lifts are small only one was working and not as easy to get in, but as I’ve only just moved in, I will see if I can stay for awhile

2 x Lift not working. No access to lock up on the 4th floor via stairs either, needed to store stuff in lock up unit. No eta for lift engineer, we were in the process of moving out of a house in Acton, so could not take the stuff back.

Reception staff, not able (willing) to help. 2 ground floor units free, not willing to let us have one for a day to unload 2 x trolly worth of stuff already in reception.

Staff got abusive, followed us out after we left and wanted to start a fight.

Have asked Area Manager to move our stuff to a different location, as we can't go back.

Really friendly staff, Adam and Yusuf were prompt and cooperative. The facility is newly built with great amenities. Highly recommended.

Michael in customer services is a very helpful person. His politeness and attention to detail is excellent. Michael is patient and extremely knowledgeable about the processes of Shurgard. He gave time and professional care to the best and cost effective method to use. Moving home and storing is often a stressful time of personal circumstances, Michael helps put your mind to rest and is the right person to advise on storing your belongings. Thank you

Amazing experience, I never trink very easy to do this.

Excellent customer service, a free lock provided and assistance when my online ID check would not go through. Fantastic that they have more than enough trolleys to go around!

Still waiting for my refund after almost a month since I vacate the unit.I mean what the fcku they’re telling me that you’ve technical issues for refunding me from last 3 weeks and it’s still not solve yet. Also customer service is worsen.everyone have different story when you called them for your refund. Allover they’ve put their price at right price which £1 a month because that’s what they worth.
UPDATE - they’ve not refunded my full payment therefore legal action will be taken.23/11
