Shurgard Self Storage - Croydon Purley Way レビュー 

Over 8 weeks later no refund was made. They cancelled my booking tried to increase the charges. Advertised wrong details to loop me in. Promised someone will call to sort this out. So far no refund. No calls. My mails ignored. I am out of pocket. No storage. Not even an apology.

Good rate, easy to access and use, suitable operational hours - no complaints all around.

Booking it all online was very straight forward. I did need a little help with the app but the staff were very helpful. Nice clean building.

Lewis was absolute incredible and extremely helpful, very friendly and patient with my requests. Thank you so much Lewis for everything! I wish there to be more people like Lewis! Cheers buddy

Great customer service. Good value for money when it comes to security and tidiness of the premises.
Haven't rated all 5 stars only because of lack of logistical flexibility of the storage. For example I cant get a delivery to the storage unless I'm there to accept it in person.

Friendly introduction but did not explain that would need the code again for the lift. Mobile phone access did not work without office intervention but since fine.

In this economy the price was great customer experience very good. And easy access to the storage.

It was very straightforward for me no hassle, excellent staff service polite and very efficient friendly helpful at the branch i use in Purley Way.

After using the storage company for almost 6 months, I then handed my notice to leave IN PERSON (at the Croydon branch) I also filled out a form to confirm I will be leaving the unit EMPTY by the 22nd June.
Once I emptied my unit, my removals company failed to let me know that they locked my unit when they emptied it.
I then notice in July that shurgard have taken another instalment of £115
So I call the branch to explain I handed in my notice, to be told that because it’s still locked I still will be charged. I explained my situation that I was unaware it was still locked and it had been empty since June 22nd
The person on the phone was extremely unhelpful, no compassion, no suggestions going forward NOTHING
i then notice in AUGUST that they took a Further £115
So I’m STILL being charged.
I’m now having to call ‘head office’ to explain this situation, to then be met by an extreme jobs worth ‘Marc Douglas’ who again just snaps back at me saying, I won’t get a refund because I left the lock in the unit. Despite the fact that I signed a form to say that The unit will be empty and I wish to have my account closed.
So I’ve been robbed of £230. There is no other number to call, and I feel completely helpless. In such a tough time being self employed having come out of a global pandemic, moving home twice and now living alone with extreme cost of living inflation and a ‘big company’ like shurgard is just casting day light robbery against my bank account. Run a mile from this awful company. I’ve not spoken to one person with good customer care.
