Shurgard Self Storage - Deptford レビュー 

After 2 days in advance paying, doing check-in online, ID checks and receiving my access code - I hired a van, spent the day packing it to the roof, arrived only for my access code not to be working. It was 3:30pm on a Sunday by this point so the office was closed and there was no out-of-hours number to call for help. Wasted a huge amount of time, money and physical effort.

Great customer service at the Deptford branch. Very helpful chap.

It was great only the thing is that I wasn't getting access code so it was bit not satisfactory but I was happy the guy at the reception he helped me by giving the other option.

Everything was very easy to set up and navigated through the site very smoothly. The price is very affordable and the facilities are very good.

Your admin team based at the Deptford branch are absolutely amazing

I am shocked by how Shurgard offered me a reasonable monthly price to start with and then kept increasing the monthly price once my possessions were trapped in the storage unit. And because I am abroad, I can’t do anything about it!

Even if I get to London in the near future, moving my stuff to a cheaper new storage company will be very, very stressful.

I’m extremely disappointed.

Pros: Clean and tidy with helpful and friendly staff.

Cons: Insufficient parking at Deptford site. Shurgard app is temperamental and has to be closed and re-opened frequently. It is inconvenient to use when carrying material to or from storage. Emails from shurgard.co.uk authenticate correctly but those from shurgard.eu fail authentication leading to emails being rejected or routed to spam/junk boxes. Gmail seems to have a database of known legitimate but badly configured mail servers and allows shurgard.eu emails through. You are forced to use the Shurgard app and setting it up requires email from shurgard.eu. An organisation the size of Shurgard should be able to make a better job of managing its IT systems.

This company makes it so easy to book and use a unit

The service was faultless until a month after I had cancelled my service. I honoured the 15-day cancellation period and paid the additional 3 days as instructed by the Shurgard employee only to receive an Intrum demand letter for payment due for a period after I had cancelled. I contact Shurgard for support in resolving only to be told that I needed to deal with Intrum directly. The Intrum correspondence has no contact details apart from to make payment. Shocking service and will directly impact my credit rating when I followed their process. Will never use them again.

Rude unprofessional unhelpful and inflexible staff who treat existing customers with utter disrespect.

The unit is clean and spacious.

Very helpful advice from staff on how to operate in the Shurgard environment e.g. setting up the app, use of access codes, etc. Felt at ease and comfortable in navigating the system. Found the storage space to be exactly what I needed.

You can access the storage 24/7, staff is incredibly helpful and nice and overall all is clean and tidy + you can check out by yourself

Clean space, spacious corridors and enough trolleys make the experience really nice!

The booking of the unit was very straight forward and easy and being able to arrange it all online was a god-send! It would have been very difficult to have gotten to the faculty before the office closed at 6pm so appreciate the online ID check and automation of everything. Plus, what a great price they have on offer at the moment
