Our experience with Shurgard Storage was excellent.

The facility was easily accessible and the whole process was simple and straightforward. We dealt mostly with Caroline, who was particularly helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist.

Highly recommend Shurgard for anyone looking for reliable and hassle-free storage!

We rented this storage to help out a friend in need facing life changing move to much smaller home. We needed a quick safe and fair priced solution and found it all at Shurgard

Customer service was good. Set up and access to the storage is great only thing is the stealth pricing when signing up such as the cost for locks and insurance. That should be more transparent.

Shurgard Self Storage Greenwich gets 3 stars from me. Their introductory deal was great, and my storage locker has been fine overall. However, price hikes year-on-year have made it unaffordable, and the facility often feels poorly maintained—messy communal areas, broken lifts, and security concerns. Customer service is helpful but improvements are needed.

A welcoming and well secured environ. Staffs were friendly and helpful, and all was made ready with ease.

The only good thing about this place is the polite and friendly customer service at the desk. Everything else about this company is not good.
I had to purchase a storage place last year after escaping from abusing household. On two occasions, the second one was moving to smaller storage space, I was given storage units insanely far from the lifts without having a say or choice to pick one closer. It’s been very stressful going to the storage space due to my phobia of tight spaces and corridors so I have mostly avoided going there for nearly a year.
Now that I have found s decent place to move to, I have informed the staff that I would be moving out and to cancel any future payments. My invoice period runs for another week till the 2nd of March, yet Shurgard want to charge me for nearly 5 weeks after I move out.
Shurgard has also increased my storage unit price by 30% since last November 2024, without any explanation of why this sudden increase or any additional benefits or extra storage space.
I can’t wait to get far away from Shurgard and their shady practices and inflation busting out of the blue price increases, AND YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME.

Ease of access to my unit. My padlock has been lovingly stored inside for my convenience. Customer service experience has been informative and concise in their delivery. The online booking and in-store confirmation has been excellent and appreciated.

I had no knowledge that shugard changed his access method to app. Shugard is populating so much info from Customers then force us, if we want to use their storage, to also invade our phones. I despite it. It was probably in fine prints when I signed up online which doesnt shake off the feeling of being lied to. It should have been stated clearly. I was already there with my stuff and made a reservation so it wa hard to find an alternative. However, Shugard/the agents told me it was for my security...Therefore it shall really be; And Shugard better not to get hacked...
