Staff are always friendly & helpful, willing to go that extra mile should any issue occurs!!

We have had the storage unit for several years and have been very pleased with the way Shurgard have conducted the arrangement. Bryony, Clare and David ALWAYS give fantastic helpful service.

We rented a unit for 18 months at the Swindon branch, when our son and his partner were waiting for their new house to be ready. The unit was very clean and felt save and secure, all the staff David, Bryony and Clare were always very polite and helpful.
There is good parking and a large lift with plenty of trolleys available to transport goods to the upper level.

David was polite and helpful and took time to ensure the size of unit met our current needs. The facility is clean and tidy with plenty of trolleys to use.

The storage area was clean and tidy but always cold. David, Briony, and Clare were always very helpful and friendly. I did however feel £50 per month, of which around £6 per month was insurance, was expensive for the size of unit I had. Would fit around 10-12 x 80ltr boxes.

It was a great experience using the self storage. The storage building is big and clean, very spacious where you can move bulky things around at ease. The staff there is friendly and helpful, and they assisted me in everything and problems I encountered.

I went into the store in the week , and was greeted with smiles and a great attitude by Bryony . I had many question regarding a unit , and she was more than happy to answer any question that I had , with confidence which made me reassured about my decision . I could recommend the service and the company any more . Great stuff .

Kept my things there for nearly 2 years. They changed companies and they charged me the full months rent even though i was initially told i could cancel my contract at any time and will not have to pay any further. This company didnt send me their policy when changing over so i was not aware of this. I paid nearly £230 a month and was still charged nearly £115 for 2 weeks when i had vacated early. You could definitely find better units with better policies out there.

A warm welcome, from Clare and Bryony, when I entered the office of Shurgard in Swindon. I was seeking a storage unit for the first time and found their guidance and the information offered particularly useful. They were friendly and professional and after viewing the units that might suit me, together with the cost, I decided to accept their offer as excellent value for money. I have now moved in and incredibly happy with the service given and my decision.

My experience with Shurgard Self storage in Swindon was excellent from start to finish. What stood out was the warm and helpful service at the reception - the gentleman there went above and beyond to explain everything clearly and made the whole experience stress-free :)

Sam David & Bryony have been helpful & polite since Shurgard took over from Lok'nStore. Thank you to them. The previous Lok'nStore staff were superb & the last manager whose name I don't recall was extremely helpful going out of her way to assist. I think the cleaning equipment now being used is not very efficient & I was not impressed to note dirt & dust balls going into my unit under thr gap at the bottom of the unit door on several occasions. I decided to give up my unit after 21 years as it was getting way too expensive & prices would continually rise as Shurgard review the prices twice a year.

I've been trying to get help in regards to lodging a complaint with Swindon Shurgard for the last 3 months. Regarding the unacceptable condition of my storage unit, significant damage to personal belongings a serious pest infestation issue and breach of contract and the unprofessional conduct of your staff one in particular .
I have spoken and sent an email to the Regional manager of Swindon Branch who has not been of any help.

The whole process in using Shurgard has been easy from the initial phone call enquiry to securing a storage locker.
Went to site-had a full tour by David at the Swindon site, very through explanation on how the whole storage process works, a complete run through on when arriving to store items, from signing in lift operation & the location of our locker.
David was great & very informative a great credit to the company & to the Swindon site, great customer service & nothing was to much trouble, which some business miss this but David certainly doesn’t, made the whole experience great.

Great place in terms of the space, cleanliness etc, just wish they were open for access for longer hours
