Lovely shutters. Cleaned up after themselves. Very pleased with everything

The shutters took a long time to arrive from order (approx 3 months) but were fitted cleanly and efficiently. However, the shutters had integral blackout blinds included but leaked too much light, which it transpired were due to the middle section being manufactured (in China) out of alignment. On reporting this issue to Shuttercraft, they accepted the issue and had the offending sections replaced (which took another 3 months), whilst also adding further attachments to make the blackout effect much better. The final result looks great and the fitter was quick and efficient on both occasions - just the original manufacture and the amount of time it took to get to the final outcome was the downside..!

The service I’ve had doesn’t even warrant one star. After the order has been placed and deposit paid there is no further communication. I ordered and paid in September and in the end of November asked Mark and Adam for an update. Again in December I contacted Mark for updates and still no response or reply. I finally spoke to their head office who later got back to me that my shutters were still being made in China. At this point I gave up and asked for a refund. Now in January I’ve rung head office to find out what is again happening to be told he sent an email in December asking for my bank details. I didn’t have/ see/find this email and I’m totally at a loss why someone didn’t check as to why I didn’t respond. All in all Shuttercraft are a very rude company with a lack of communication skills after they’ve got your money.

NB head office don’t add a follow up reply of any sort of platitude as nothing excuses rudeness in not replying to queries.

Adam and his team did a fab job with my bay window shutters and the results are perfect. The measuring was precise and, as as a result, the fitting was impeccably carried out. The shutters themselves are high quality. The team were very professional and polite, adhering at all times to Covid guidelines.

This is the 3rd time I’ve used Shuttercraft Swindon as we did the house in stages and I can’t recommend them enough if you want shutters. Bob, Adam and the team are top class, extremely knowledgable and can’t do enough for you. The shutters are fantastic quality and the installation is perfect. We decided to get Cafe style shutters during lock down. We emailed the team, who sent out a pdf brochure. We initially did our own measurements, which was easy 😊. Then when the lock down was eased they came out to measure. Covid secure fully kitted out in PPE.

We waited a short time for the shutters to be made and they were delivered and fitted by the team. The shutters are good quality, easy clean and hard wearing. They look fantastic and are easy to use. Our living room and dinning room look great 👍.

Communication was great throughout the whole process. Highly recommended.

Job well done, it looks the part and does what it is meant for. The measuring was carried out promptly and correctly, no harassment with "sign now for best offer", expected delivery was spot on and the fitter was very good at his job, on time, tidy and efficient. The while process was no trouble.

This company are top draw. I have perfectly fitted shutters could not be more delighted.
