Pick up and drop off was smooth with no issues. We weren’t entirely sure where to go for the shuttle at International but we just asked someone and found out easily. The car itself was great. The whole process was very easy. Price was also really great.

Will never use them again. Price hiking and manipulative handling of bookings. No transparency during accident claims, even when not at fault. High excess - read the small print cause this company will happily hide and charge willy nilly charges. Perth Staff are friendly but micro managed by Adelaide office who just want your money. DO NOT LONG TERM LEASE AS THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO MANAGE SUCH!! - false advertising, different prices online to what is charged. Add ons charges to cross the length of the nullaboor with! Car availability is limited for long term. What is on website is not reflective of availability in Perth. Apparently opening up in Tasmania yet they can't even manage what they already have set up. Agreement terms changed without notification. Unreliable communication. Inconsistent pricing. Kia Tasman smelt like spew. Overcharged thousands. Big canon ball of detriment to the customer with no remorse shown.

Everything about using Simba was easy and straight forward. Booked my car online without hassle, and the prices were very competitive. When we arrived at Cairns airport the free shuttle service to their office was fantastic. After returning the car we then got a free shuttle back to the airport. It's fantastic. Highly recommend.

Was very simple called, got a quote made payment picked up the car, had 3 children seats installed and car was spotless clean will. Be simba car hire again in cairns they were fabulous.

The consultant I spoke to when picking up my vehicle was condescending and rude. He audibly snorted when I said I didn’t want the insurance to cover the excess. I should point out the car was returned with no damage. When I paid the deposit I was told it would take 10 business days to refund upon the car returned. At 11 business days I got an email telling me how fantastic it was that I didn’t incur any toll charges and that my $500 refund would take 10 business days. I’m sorry WTF. That is 21 business days in total that this company is hanging onto how many $500?????? Never again. And actually if it isn’t in my bank account by Thursday which will be 14 business days I will be lodging a complaint with QCAT. Not worth the cheap car hire. Would rather pay a tiny bit extra and deal with Hertz. Another shonky start up that will take people’s money. Seriously give it back or it’s on!

Simple process, helpful staff and even offer shuttle bus to airport made our stay very enjoyable

We only hired for 2 days booking was easy and cheap pricing. To get a shuttle to pickup was easy but when dropping off we were outside working hours had a early flight so ended up getting a uber to airport.

We had a great experience with Simba at Cairns airport.
The check in process was quick and smooth. They send photos of the car (that have just been taken) to your email to show the condition of the car. The team member was super friendly and did not aggressively push the insurance like some rental places do.
Car was near new and nice and clean.
Return process was done in minutes and the shuttle to the airport was immediate and takes a few mins.

Car was damaged when we picked it up. Too many dints and scratches ( 29 pictures) to be sure about any additional damage from our rental. Staff were great and very helpful

Expecting the customer to pay extra insurance when they’ve already paid a basic cover to be told it’s worthless and it’s expected to pay extra is unacceptable. It’s up to the customer to decide what insurance they want to take out and not to be made to feel pressed into buying extra insurance. Not only is the issue of insurance but make sure you read the small print in the type of car being rented to you. I hired a Kia but was given a Mazda which had warning lights flashing as I drove around the car park to exit and no parcel shelf which means my luggage in full view as no tinted windows, something that is a basic necessity as the police clearly state hide your belongings when parking and the last thing you want to do is go sightseeing with your suitcase.
