Deliberate Deception and Unauthorized Charges â Stay Away!
My experience with Everything Fleet was a nightmare of unprofessionalism and attempted fraud.
The Facts:
Unauthorized Early Charges: They charged my credit card for the full bond on February 4th â while I was still driving the vehicle and days before the return date. No explanation, no report, just a silent withdrawal.
Attempted Deception (NT Travel): After I had to replace two tyres due to massive wear (tread chipping), the management tried to claim I had entered a "forbidden area" in the Northern Territory. They insisted I pay for the tyres myself. Only after I meticulously studied their own Terms & Conditions did I find out this was a lie. I had full written permission to travel there, but they deliberately tried to mislead me to avoid paying for their own vehicle's maintenance.
Maintenance Issues: The car was poorly maintained. When the tyres failed due to wear and tear, they tried to frame it as "damage" caused by me.
Inspection Lies: Upon return, a staff member performed a full digital inspection with a handheld device, took photos, and confirmed everything was fine. Yet, the "Claims Department" later claimed their staff was "unable to perform inspections" to stall the refund process.
Conclusion: They only refunded my money "silently" after I provided proof from their own T&Cs and escalated the case through Check24 with a strict deadline.
Warning to all travelers: This company uses intimidation and misinformation to keep your deposit. Document everything, read every line of your contract, and do not let them bully you. Better yet: Rent somewhere else.
