Hi,

We’re sorry to hear you experienced slow speeds! We checked your connection logs on our network portal, and we can see your 5GB plan is fully active but with virtually zero data transmitted so far.

When a travel eSIM shows signal bars but data speeds are non-existent, it almost always means Data Roaming is turned OFF for the secondary (Simpal) eSIM in your phone settings. Travel eSIMs require Data Roaming to be toggled ON to allow high-speed data flow through local partner networks abroad.

How to fix this in 10 seconds:
Go to Settings $\rightarrow$ Cellular / Mobile Data.
Select your Simpal eSIM line.Toggle Data Roaming to ON.
Switch Airplane Mode ON for 10 seconds, then OFF.

Looking at our network portal, your eSIM was actively connected to Vodafone’s primary 5G network—so when speed drops happen on a 5G line, it is usually due to temporary local network congestion in busy tourist areas or dense indoor locations.
